Chateau Elan Golf Club - Chateau Course

This is an excellent course for an outing or to entertain clients. It is challenging but fair. The amenities are great. The staff are very friendly.

The staff is always nice at Chateau Elan! The course was not is good condition, I lost several balls that where hit in the fairway or rough and were covered with dead grass. If I had not known that I was on a golf course, I would have thought that I was playing in a hay field. They could have bales up the dead grass, there is no way that we have had that much rain lately. The overall conditions has just went down hill in the last several years, it was nice that they replaced the greens, but they have let the others areas go in the tank. No worth the money!

Great day for a round of golf. Weather was great, course was in good condition and pace of play couldn't have been better.

I played as a single and had no delays during my late morning tee time\ course in great shape,!

Saw the beverage cart several times and golf staff were very pleasant and efficient. Got a great date on line !

I have written several highly critical Chateau Elan reviews. This review is also critical, but better than some prior reviews. This is my first round on the Chateau Course since the rebuild. I last played the Chateau course the day it washed out.

The course is nice, but not well maintained for a facility of this potential caliber. The place looked like a cut hay field before bailing. My biggest conditioning issue was the greens. These greens are rock hard and slow. I understand new Bermuda greens being hard, but these should roll perfect in mid-July with the nearly ideal growing conditions these past few months. There were only a few groups out and the pace of play was very nice for the first time ever.

The practice tee was closed so that the grass could be cut. I expect this on Monday, but not late morning on Thursday. This is yet another poor experience attributable to how Chateau Elan’s golf course operations are managed.

Earlier this week, I played a course where the average green fee is less than half of the typical fee at Chateau Elan. The course was better maintained and I had a better experience.

I recently moved to Dacula and decided it was now time to play Chateau Elan Golf Club since I am only 20 minutes away. WOW, did I make a great decision. Let me start with the staff. Everyone from the bag drop-off location, the pro-shop attendant to the beverage cart lady were excellent. All smiles, friendly and willing to help. Now to the course. The golf course was absolutely beautiful and the condition was spectacular. The plush fairways were great and the greens were superb. Who could ask for anything more. I will be making this my new favorite golf course and many more rounds of golf to be played here by me.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Fairways were punched so the rates were reduced. Had to roll the ball in the fairway to avoid soil plugs. Good value. The greens were in good condition and rolling well. I would go back.

This was the first time I played this Par 3 course and I plan to return many times. I wanted to work on my short game and this game me a perfect place to accomplish that. The distances from tee to green vary and the greens are various sizes. There is a mixture of hills, water, trees, etc. I look forward to returning soon.

Greens are vast and fast, fairways very well maintained. I'm a beginner and I found the course to be forgiving. Didn't have to make the perfect shot every time. Didn't lose a single ball...for the beginners out there, this is a big deal :-). Only got in 9 holes due to weather. I will definitely play here again!
