Bang for your $
Very green course. Fairways wide and in great condition. The greens were rolling fast but great condition as well. Definitely worth checking out!
Course condition
The course conditions were not as good as I had previously seen. A little rough. The greens were a little rough mostly from lack of ball mark repairs from inconsiderate players.
Value Golf
If you want to play a round and dont want to spend alot then this is the place. Greens are good but tee boxes are some of the worst out there and fairways definately need some attention.
Best conditions in years
With a bit more attention to fairways and bunkers, this course could be okay.
Great course
Pace of play was great tee boxes were a little rough fairways were nice and greens well maintained great job
Straight forward course in good shape
Not a difficult course but tees and greens are in good condition and unlike some local courses the fairways at Cottonwood had grass too!
Good place to practice your game at a good price.
Slow Play
NO MARSHALL to get the slowest foursome in history in front of us to MOVE. We called pro shop for help, but, nooooo response. Frustrating 5+ hour round.
Great golf course value in San Diego area.
I'm pretty new to golf, been playing just over a year. Cottonwood is good if you stay on the fairway. Off the fairway and asking for trouble trees. Rough tallish grass. hard pack dirt. Great place to learn I think.
Good, could be better.
I check in and tried ti get range balls, but they were sold out for the day? Found that odd. At the check in, they mentioned they were about 15 mins behind on my our tee times. So basically checked in way too early. Starter guy was very unfriendly as well.
Tee’s off and the backed up for the first 4 holes but started to get a little better. Over all was a 5,5 hr round. Course was in pretty decent condition. Greens were a bit bumpy but rolled good for what it was.
It was a cheap round, but probably wouldn’t pay more than I did. Would recommend but pace of play does need to pick up.
Too many tee times, 3 hour plus for 9 holes!
Poorly managed pace of play, 6+ hour round was in the offing if there was enough
enough daylight. Walked off after playing 3holes in 1 hour. Never again. Facility is in rough shape.
