Busy days
I had a lot of fun playing with
the gentlemen we were paired with. I always enjoy the company of nice people. The only problem we had was a single man who disrupted the flow of play
Course conditions less than stellar
I have played here for many years. It appears they are running on a shoe string budget. Only the greens are maintained and some are getting pretty iffy. Even the practice green is in terrible shape. No real driving range. It's a shame that a once great course is in this condition.

Different rate compared with golf now showed
Last Saturday, I rounded Cottonwood, and when I made a reservation with Golfpass, and it was included a cart in my reservation, but when I checked in, they said the cart was not included and I had to pay the cart fee. This was the first time this happened, unlike when I made a reservation through Golfnow.

Course and staff
Upon arrival I was greet with friendly staff. Order some food and beverages and everything was great.
Course had some rough areas but overall everything went smooth

Great Weather
Grass was spotty in the fairways, just found closest grass to play the next shot. Lots of debris on fairways, greens, and bunkers. Greens were a little bumpy. Price was high for the course conditions, but I would play again as it was still cheaper than other courses in San Diego at the time I played.

Cotton wood Golf course
The course itself was alright, some hole were in good condition and difficult, but others are very different to the rest and unfriendly. Have a joke of a driving range but if you know how to play golf it’s not a bad golf course.

They want your money that's it
Booked Tee time on line with Golf Now before 10:00 am. My T time 1:07. The starter was letting people go out with out T times in front of me. They weren't wearing golf attire close. & didn't have glubs. He told me he didn't care if I wanted to go get my money back go see the person inside. He said sorry & it would take three working days to get it back. The director of operations is Shantel Nemeck. I should call & see if this is how the Course is ran now.

Very good conditions
Course in great shape except for the mounded gofer holes, and, broken-brushless-empty ball washers. BUT - NEW (not even second hand) carts.

Greens
Back 9 greens are manicure much better better than Front 9. Beautiful day with good pace this day!

Greens are still pretty rough from bring punched. Fairways were ok. If give the greens another couple of weeks.

Needs Better Course Maintenance
Fairways and bunkers poorly maintained. Greens are okay. Good to play only if you can get a cheap or discounted rate.

No notification of punched greens
Play here on the regular. There was no notification from staff or golf now that the greens were just punched. Should have told us up front and/or discounted green fees.

Warning
I was so disappointed when I saw the course was being punched and sanded and no warning was given when I made my reservation. Our only option was to play the front nine twice.
