Corica Park - South Course

I had a 6 hour round on a Monday. It doesn’t matter how beautiful the course is or how well maintained. The round is ruined when the staff does absolutely nothing about slow play. 0/10 would not recommend.

Not an easy course if you don't hit it straight off the tee.

Very nice course. Not an extremely hard course if the winds are light. Greens are probably the best thing about this course. Rough can be a challenge. Looking forward to playing the North course once they’re finished with its remodel.

Wow. 5hr 15 min round at 10am in a Wednesday. Course condition- this place has gone downhill. Greens- punched with sand- no mention of this while getting a tee time or in the pro shop- still charged full fee.

Pace of play- horrible. Seniors playing white tees hitting the ball 25-30 yards. Everyone watching one person hit. No concept of ready golf.

Marshall came out to to apologize on hole 14.

I was so frustrated on the back nine that I left after playing the 14th hole. There were two groups in front of us that were unbearably slow. Guys playing from the blues that had no business doing so. They need a Marshall out there to set things straight.

The course itself was nice, and the greens are fast. I’d play again if it wasn’t so expensive for a time earlier than twilight. But I don’t trust being able to finish when teeing off at 3. Which is bad for the middle of summer.

Greens were punched and sanded. Did not mention any of those things during booking and check in.

Senior men’s group playing for white tees. Hitting the ball 70 yards each, waiting, watching and not ready to hit their own ball. No marshal seen until 15. 5+hour round. This place has gone downhill. Never again. Avoid this place unless you want to spend 5+ hours for a round of golf

It was hard to book a good time at Corica South this past year. Recently I was able to make time for 5/12 and 5/19. Might be that the high cost of $109 made it possible.

The greens were fast. Fairways are only in fair condition which resulted in my 4-star review. Love the links style

layout which is unique to the east bay.

The undulating greens, especially on the back 9 will keep you laser focused. Take some time on the practice greens to dial in the distance from 20, 30, and 40 yards. Then focus on dialing in the stroke from within 10 yards. The greens are fast, a little tap and you could go 5 to 10 yards past the hole.

The course is beautiful and wide open. But don’t let that fool you and rip your drives. A good shot selection will reward you more. There are few holes that are drivable, but well-protected with bunkers. Play smart.
