Monterey Pines Golf Club

Booked a hot deal and had some issues with getting there on time, called the course and was told no problem and we could get on later which was really appreciated. Talked to several staff members and all were great-even got a hot tip on where to have a good fish dinner from the cart tender. We played this course many years ago and the new layout for my high handy cap is great, fun and challenging. Look forward to playing there again.

Even though I know this course, it always challenges: water hazards, gentle elevation changes, opportunities to cut the corners of a couple of doglegs

The course was in excellent shape. We had a beautiful day and we were put together with a couple of retired armed services members. They were great fun to play with. We will be back sooon.

In December I bought the Winter Pass (unlimited play during December, January and February). I loved playing the course 20-30 times during that period. The course (though pretty short) is kept in EXCELLENT condition by a great staff. The fairways are in good condition, the greens are difficult but in great shape as are the traps.

This course is one of the best values in the Monterey area.

Great condition, lots of challenges , some holes are impossible to hold the greens as the balls leak off into the water

First time at this course. Really enjoyed my experience: the shop was very friendly and efficient, practice range was in good shape - nice mats, course was in excellent shape. Excellent value for the price, will definitely play here again.

Monterey Pines is always very well maintained and always a fun place to play.

Golf course was in good condition, but the greens were perfect! It is not a long course, 5500 from the back tees and with the "hot deal" it is a great value.

Course is green and lush. Very playable. We’ve been playing golf for 15 years and find as we age we appreciate a course that is more gentle. This fits the bill! We’ll be back soon!

This course has great valuess a result a lot of novice players show up and their pace of play is slow,20 some handicappers,8/12 shots on postholes

All in the group know we shouldn't bring outside beveridges onto the course but one of us did and got rightfully busted. Only time that happened. Coincidently, our round was over 5 hrs. long, the first time that happened to me, as well. Too bad the official who busted the beveridge scofflaw didn't keep his good work going and speed up play. I will concede one bust a day is probably sufficient. No Biggie!

LOVE the pines

Good deals always seem to be available for this course. Sometimes under $30. This is a fun and fairly easy course but you still get to use a full range of clubs. The only drawback is the nearby airport which brings the take offs directly overhead. It can be quite loud but not too distracting. The greens are similar to the upscale Blackhorse course in nearby Seaside.
