Copper Canyon Golf Club - Lake/Mountain Course
About
The course at Copper Canyon Golf Club is deceptively exclusive in that although the club has prestige and a luxurious atmosphere, there are some reasonably priced tee times. The layout features an interesting mix of holes that offer panoramic views of the White Tank Mountains to the south. The large, undulating greens that are framed by generous fairways are the trademark of the course. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also sand bunkers situated throughout. This golf course offers four sets of teeboxes. Copper Canyon Golf Club has extensive practice facilities for golfers to use as well, including a full length driving range with several target greens, a large practice putting green, and a short game area with a bunker.

Well maintained course!
We played Copper Canyon for the first time 4 years ago and loved it. This time around the course did not disappoint! Well manicured fairways and greens were fair to play on and my wife and I enjoyed the course very much!
The drive is worth it
Great overall! Tee boxes, fairways, rough, and greens were in top condition. Sand traps were very hard under a half inch of sand(only drawback) Will help to know the course a little better, the next time I play it. Greens are huge and undulated, but very fair. I am looking forward to the next time I play Copper Canyon
Interesting course
Interesting features. Some fairways have significant slope to water if placed ball wrong but had installed fencing. Very good visual layouts. Need cart due to long drive between some holes.
fast play
fast play, The course was in good shape. It is in a Del Webb community but the fairways are wide and forgiving. Will definitely play this course again
worth the trip
very fair course, but not boring - bent grass greens are in good condition and roll true - a little pricey for being do far out
Challenging and Groomed
Friendly and accomodateing staff! The four of us, all playing about 17 handicaps, had no problem reaching the greens in regulation. That's if we where in the fairway. The course protects itself with the decorative rocks just off the fairways. Bring a "Desert" club for this course. These rocks are very abusive to your poor clubs. The forward tees appear to be very forgiving and I think my wife would love to play here.
Every hole could be a magazine picture
The staff was very freindly and accomodating. The course is well maintained and manicured. The fairways are generous with enough hazards around the greens to keep you focused. I can't wait to take some of my golfing buddies to this course.
Excellent course
From the first tee to the last I enjoyed this course. The conditions were perfect with well maintained fairways, evenly cut rough, and quick true greens. The fairways were generous but the course was challenging. Several sets of tees to choose from so not matter your skill level you should be able to find a tee that fits your game. I highly recommend.
Copper Canyon golf
I was disapointed with the Facility in that I wanted to shower & clean up afterwards. No such accomodations available.I had a Tuna Salad that was very good.
The course itself was in good shape for being peak Season. And Pace of play for a Saturday was great!
superb condition
Excellent course. A must play. Though its a little far out don't let that stop you.
Hidden Gem
This course is a hidden gem! Greens are awesome and course condition was perfect! If you get a chance to play this course take advantage.
Great Desert Course
Extremely windy on day of play but still enjoyed the time
Course was it great shape.
Excellent weather, excellent golf course, nice people to play with only thing missing was my game.
Worth the drive out to Buckeye
A very well-kept course, keeping in Troon fashion. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, though the greens were running a bit slow. The layout was great and required at least a little bit of planning off the tee rather than simply playing hit-it-and-go-get-it style. Landscaping around the course often features rocky areas, so anything really errant was either unplayable or had club damage potential. Sand was course but playable--not thin in the bottom like I've experience at other desert courses.
My buddy and I were paired with two ladies who were regulars there; they were fun to play with but playing split tees slowed us down a bit. The foursome behind us (all men) were part of the same group as our playing partners and seemed to make a point of playing into our back pockets for most of the back nine (we played in four hours/ten minutes, so the pace wasn't an issue--they were just jerks). Aside from those guys, the round was great and this course is worth playing again. The rates are less than most Scottsdale-area tracks and the quality of course is as good.
POOR GREENS & SAND TRAPS AT COPPER CANYON
TONS OF BALL MARKS ON THE GREENS AND ROCK SOLID HARD SAND TRAPS
DRIVING RANGE ALSO BEAT UP.
Copper Canyon
Great course, mix of fair and challenging holes. Good greens as well. Will play there again.
Worth the drive
Staff very friendly and professional. Course in exceptional shape. We hit from gold tees but found that it would be more challenging from back tees. We plan on returning....great experience, highly recommended!
Magnificent Greens
Not a long course but a good challenge still from the tips. The course was in superb shape and a lot of fun to play. I travel to Phoenix every year and make it a point to play this course.
The greens could not have been in better condition; not too fast but fast enough and the ball rolled perfectly. I played seven different courses on this trip - all were in great shape - but none had greens nearly as nice.
