Calabash golf without crowds

Theearl is a good choice for Calabash / N MB golfers that want to escape crowds. The course is nicely maintained with a fair layout. It is tucked in between Sea Trail and Ocean Ridge Plantations, but there are no homes built on the course. It is a good choice for a challenging round of golf.

Beautiful course in great shape

The course is beautiful and in excellent shape.! The only negative I encountered was pace of play. We had an extremely slow foursome in front of us. I mean slow! Having a ranger on the course could have helped this situation.

The Pearl

Best conditions we’ve played this season. Very impressed considering they had no real issues this early in the season. Tee boxes, greens, and fairways were spectacular. Pin placements were tough, but the greens weren’t fast, so they were playable. We played West/East and enjoyed our round thoroughly.

Condition of the course is poor to fair

Surprised to see why a 4 star rating has been assigned to this course. Perhaps the ratings were several years ago and it has been damaged by a storm. Cart paths are in very rough shape along with patchy spots on sides of fairways. Most sand traps were full of water and it looked like they have been that way for a while. The pace of play was excellent since there were about only 5 cars in the parking lot. Did see a few gators though.
