#4 West is a cool short par three with several good tee angles into an undulating green. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

The best scenery is on #8 West - a long and testing par 5 along the Calabash River. Photo submitted by DenisDotson on 03/28/2020

Nice course for the money
Having had trouble even finding a tee time in Myrtle Beach we were a bit skeptical when we found plentiful availability at The Pearl. Especially at $70. Turns out the course was very nice, the greens were smooth and pretty quick, the pace of play was great. We played in under 4 hours. We figure it must be the rather long drive from Myrtle that explains the availability. It was worth the drive
Ease Back Into The Game
This was my first round in almost 7 years. This was a great course to get started back up again. I played from the Gold tees with the rest of the group I was paired with: The tee boxes, fairways, and bunkers were in great shape. Stray from the fairway or rough and you will run into sandy patches and tight lies. The greens were in very good shape, fast and true. There were a few of greens with dead grass and sand near the collars. If your looking for a fun round of golf that will not bring you to your knees, unless you play the blacks this is it.
Great course
This course is long and challenging. Great course to test your skills
This was a great Hot deal for $65.
Course was in great condition and very challenging.
Staff here was very friendly and helpful.
Great golf es=xperience!
Fun course. It’s always in great shape with over seeded fairways. Greens were rolling slow, and the service was even slower. Probably my last time playing here, but it’s definitely a fun place to check out for winter golf.
Great layout
Generally good condition for March. Rough dormant is a pain but is normal. Areas around the green lacked grass. Again would do it again. Just early season golf
Nice course featuring the river beautifully
We played the West, which was in very good condition, then the East. Most bunkers had really nice sand. Good shape overall.
March Golf in Myrtle.
Course was inlay conditions but should be better for the price. Greens and fairways were good but rough was still thin. I hoped for better given the fee?
Course conditions fair for Feb.
West course was okay, typical conditions in area for Feb.. The East course was in poor shape. Feel like it is used for “overflow” when West and North courses fill up.
Nice
Nice course, the is very friendliness we came from Canada to play and if we come back play in Myrtle we gonna play at this place again thanks
Staff clearly put our group as their last priority to get out on the course. I understand the frost delay hindered start times. However, when we arrived we were told we were going out on the East course. A group of regulars were scheduled to go out on the West Course (we were told by them that we were to go before them). They decided they wanted to go on the East Course and we were impolitely moved to the West Course which had a backup of four groups on the starting hole. We had a group of three and clearly played faster than the two groups ahead of us, but was never allowed to play through. I am a regular golfer in the Pinehurst, NC area and had not experienced this type of treatment in years...Very bad experiences!
Interesting Course
I've never played a course with this type format. Instead of a continuous 18 hole, you play two separate courses if 9 holes each. The course was in excellant shape with the exception of a couple of tee boxes. The greens were immaculate and each hole was unique. I didn't score very well, but I had some great shots and the courses were very challenging to make the round fun, but required some strategic shot making. A few of the par 5's offer you a chance to play safe and layup or grit your teeth and go for it.
