Excellent golf experience
Always a pleasure to play here. Fairways are wide, maintained perfectly.
Great course
The course was in fantastic shape and played well. Down side was getting stuck behind two foursomes that couldn’t keep the pace of play moving and traffic jams at certain holes ensued. .
HOT, SO UNCROWDED
This is a challenging course, especially if you're playing it for the first time and not playing with someone that knows the course. Many holes dogleg and have large stands of trees to carry if trying to cut the dogleg. A few holes have forced carries that aren't readily seen from the tees and are easily reachable if you don't play the proper club.
Beautiful course
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course layout is great and challenging yet manageable to score. The fairways were in great shape and well maintained. The greens were in excellent shape as well. This is a well maintained course. The bunkers just need to be fluffed they’re compacted. I will most definitely play again. One of the best courses in the area.
Playing in the heat
My golfing friend and I tried Timber Creek for our first time. It was a great golf day even though it was very hot. Plenty of trees gave us ample shed when needed. So glad we made the one hour drive to this excellent course. I wish they had a drink cart though.

Twosome snob
I was following a twosome and tried to get closer hoping that they will offer to let me play through but to no avail. They wasted more time talking than playing. No course etiquette.
dumb marshal
hope course does something about their stupid nincompoop marshal. tried to speed up play by having a twosome move up ahead of us when we were not holding up others. we waited for the twosome behind us to play thru then had to wait on them at several holes. don't think they were playing slow, but we could have just been told to move along a little faster, to keep others behind us moving along. the marshal just did not know how to control the speed of play and he started arguing with us and made our round very upsetting. hope pro does something with him.
make more times available for lower rates. Thank you
Great golf course
Starter was great guy sometimes they are not too friendly to golfnow players and the Marshall was really great as our foursome broke down into a twosome so he set us up to play through a foursome to join another twosome on the seventh hole. Wonderful game after last weeks terrible experience at Plumas Pines
Favorite course in Sacramento area
This is my favorite course in Sacramento area. Country club feel for reasonable rates.
