About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Golfer Reviews
Great Course to Play!
I played this course several times before had a great time playing as usual. The tee boxes need fixing all dirt needs TLC and a few other things, overall the course is in pretty decent condition except for whole number 18 is still under construction you need to fix. Hole 18 tee box area has been under construction for over several months. I would recommend playing this course go and have a great time make sure you use enough club on the par 3's across the water...hahahahahaha!
Great short course near downtown
This course is fairly short, no driver needed for most holes. Fast greens and good fairways, make this a favorite and fun course to play.
Shot placement will reward you, a must if in the area.
Pins on the edge of almost every green
Pin placement was a joke. 6-8 feet from the edge of every green. Conditions great otherwise but the pins absolutely ruined it
Good condition, pin placements ruined it.
No complains as far as the course condition. Fairways and greens both in good shape. Whoever cut pins the day I played hates his job or something. 15 out of 18 pins were 2-3 yards from the fringe. On a windy day, it made conditions impossible. I’ve never seen so many pins cut so close to the edge of the green.
Herman in the pro shop is a great guy very friendly very accommodating. Course in good shape. Tee boxes need some work but overall in good condition.
