About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

good track
Challenging layout with tight fairways and undulating greens. Use most of the clubs in your bag if you play it safe. Nice folks.

Always enjoy playing Dubsdread and seeing Herman in the shop. Greens in exceptional shape on January 6. Tight pins light breeze and fast greens made For a great challenge. Youd be hard pressed to find greens in better shape anywhere in central Florida. Private and high $ resort courses included...

Great staff,everyone was welcoming and friendly,from starter to rangers.course was short ,tough,and placed a premium on placement.greens rolled fast and true,and the historical nature of the course was interesting and fun.less than 3.5 hrs for the round.

Dubsdread, a bustling club
Several activities, including two separate luncheon events, busy at the driving range, putting green, on the course, and at the TapRoom.. Appears to be a very vibrant club. The course was challenging; conditions were satisfactory. Greens were good. All in all we rally enjoyed the day.

Stay away
So many great golf courses in Orlando
Stay away from this course if you are a intermediate or above player. It was not worth the money or the time.
We played two Disney courses and the Waldorf course they put this place to shame.

Costly for a missing hole
Just blown away by the cost of 18, as a resident- and not even told anything about the 9th hole being ripped up- short tee box on 8 and a temporary flag in the middle of the 9th fairway. Don’t see myself playing her again anytime soon- kinda feel like I was ripped off.

Dubsdread for first time
Nice city course, pace of play excellent considering large number of players on course. Greens in good shape, fairways could use a bit of thickening but course gets a lot of play. GPS on carts a good feature.
