About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Love this course
I’ve played this course at least 50x and I continue to play it again and again. Love the layout and enjoy everything about the course.
My only complaint is that I wish the ranger would get on foursomes that play too slow or player teeing it up from the tips that are clearly shouldn’t be playing this way. The ranger never show up and round was way slower than it should be.
Other than that, DB is a great test of your short game.
Enjoyable Day
Course was in good condition. Pace was good. Got paired with a couple of nice guys. Always a good experience at this course.
Old course, in great shape
Fun course to play, tees to greens in fine shape, putts roll true and fast. We had a very busy day, lots of waiting between shots, a ranger could help to move the pace a little.
Overall a good day, if you have not played Dubsdread, you should.
Wonderful Classic Style
What a wonderful course! Classic old Florida style. Short (only about 6100 yds at the tips), but narrow. Lots of water on the front, not so much on the back. Cart was in good shape, with GPS to the pin, front and back. Now don’t get me wrong, you will not mistake this place for one of the high end Orlando courses, but it’s in good shape from tee to green. The greens shapes are a little dull, but they’re free of disease and roll true. Absolutely loved my first visit to this course, and it will not be the last.
Not Cog Hill, but I liked it!
Always an enjoyable experience. However, I would like to know how many decades it takes to learn how to putt on Bermuda grass?
Don’t miss this one!
If you are in the area this is worth checking out. An old established track with plenty of challenges for every golfer. The course is well maintained and greens are in excellent condition. It does get a loypt of play so it may be a bit slow at times but well worth the wait. Follow your round with lunch or dinner at the pub, you won’t be disappointed!
I would recommend to my friends and look forward to playing again soon.
One of the better cheaper/value public courses you will play
Nice course a little shorter but tight in some spots challenging at times. Greens are in pretty good shape right now while a lot of other courses in Florida area are having problems.
Overbooked on a Saturday
We had to take a rain check. Management had a junior golf event on a Saturday and didn’t anticipate the response. We had 5 groups ahead of us at the scheduled tee time and the pace of play projected to over 5 hours. No refund offered,only rain checks.
First round of the year
Very nice course but still not in summer shape I imagine it is gorgeous in season.
