About
Rancho Solano Golf Course sits midway between San Francisco and Sacramento, a location that makes it easily accessible from all the cities in the Bay Area. The course sprawls across hilly terrain, providing the layout with elevated tees and dramatically undulating greens. It is a tough course to walk but it's possible. Sparkling lakes dot the hills, coming into play on a few holes. There are also numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with. The expansive greens offer some room for error but pin placement is still important. The first three holes on the back nine are some of Rancho Solano Golf Course's most challenging, especially the par-4 11th hole. Club selection is the key to this hole or you might lose your ball to the lake and even once you do seemingly reach safety, there are still bunkers backing the large green.

Big and smooth greens
Great course great value and the rakes for the sand traps are back and you can remove the flags if you want to just don’t let the big greens fool you it rolling well and fast

Glad to be back
I had not played Rancho Solano in a few months I am soooooo glad we played there yesterday....golf course is in great shape, love those greens....definitly a must play.....
As always ... course in great condition!
Never have an issue with course conditions at Rancho Solano. Greens were near perfect. Only thing was green fees were a little high, but this seems to be the normal since the COVID pandemic started. I definitely will be back, especially if I can find a good deal on the green fees.
Perfect Coditions
Had a 6:30 AM tee-time. The coarse was in perfect condition. It looked like tourney conditions because the fairways were manicured and the greens were rolled very nicely. Our foursome finished in 3.5 hrs.
Filipino league
They grouped me with the Filipino league and the league refused to let me play. I drove 30 minutes each way and no golf. All I got was a refund and lost my 2.49$ booking fee. Course management is questionable.
Great as usual!
It was a great golf round! Only problem is no food or beverage before 9AM

Always the best experience! Very good staff and Marshall’s are all very friendly also making sure you have the best round. The fairways and greens are one of the best in the area, beautiful scenery very well maintained, easy course, great for everyone! good pace as well. Will keep coming back!
I’ve never been treated more rudely by golf course staff
I’m an 8 handicap that played 70 rounds of golf last year and I’ve never been treated more rudely. From the cook that didn’t notice tickets came up and never started my order and then moved like a snail. I left without the food I payed for I was on the tee. It shouldn’t take 25 minutes for a breakfast burrito. Then after the round wanted to check if I could do a replay two guys behind the counter just carrying on a conversation left me standing there and never acknowledged my existence for five minutes.
I will never play here again.
Every time I come to Fairfield High play this golf course courses at great shape only problem was that the foursome in front of us was drinking more beer than playing golf. Had a friend show up on the back nine with a six pack of beer and they drink the beer on the golf course while we were on the part 3 will come back again
Wonderful course
Love this place. Conditions are always excellent and they have large, tough greens.
