Rancho Solano Golf Course

Got late for our teatime due to accident on the way. Called the pro shop and the assistant , Henry was very understanding, land took care of us as soon as we got there. Played well and my companion visiting from Savannah, Georgia was thrilled with his play scoring 3over ... 75. We also appreciated very much the hospitality of food&beverage lady, Michelle, supplying us with cold Budweiser Light!!!

this course was in superb condition!! Huge greens that were very easy to approach but watch out for the speed.. I highly recommend you play here! It's gorgeous!!

Golf course over all is wondefully maintain. Great customer service.

These greens are the tiniest greens I have ever played on. I ended up taking a lot of irons off the tee to give the respect to the tight fairways when I played all the way back. I had to sacrifice hitting the green in 5 for this. The over all green speed was nascar fast. I had all 5 putts on every single hole. I played two rounds one from all the way back and one all the way forward. From the forward tees and had to tee the ball up twice just to get the the front of the greens. I'm typically a scratch golfer at spyglass but this was a whole different beast.

It's been awhile since I've played this course, not because of any failings on the course, I just have not gone in that direction to play. I will now make it a goal to play here at least three more time this season. It's in great shape, tee times are easy to get, and I need to try to concurred the 11th hole! Each hole is very inviting and your greens in regulations percent will go up mostly because the greens are huge! Don't be discouraged if you three put here.

Pace of play was great, very little waiting. Fairways and greens were very well maintained. Course is one of the best muni courses that I have ever played.

Course was longer than I've usually played but it was great fun. Hit some excellent balls I think because the course made it easier. Would definitely play this course again and recommend it highly Thank you

I love the layout at Rancho Solano and the course is in great shape. But having a blue tee at 220 yds over water to a back pin and a 200 Yd shot over waterfront hits tees is begging for unnecessary delays, especially when the preceding hole is also a mid-iron w a full water carry. Come on guys! On weekends, when you have a lot of amateurs playing, MOVE THE TEES UP on hole # 12. In the FOUR groups that I watched tee off (that's how backed up it was) at least two players in each foursome, and in some cases ALL FOUR PLAYERS had to re-tee from the drop-zone as their tee shot was wet. No wonder there was a back-up. This is just bad course management. Please fix it!!

Played from the whites. Rancho Solano has always been a well-maintained course and this was no exception. It was a little wet, making the cart traction sketchy, but not unmanageable. I forgot how long the par 3s were. I found too many sand traps, but they were in great condition as well.

I live in the City but gave it a try and what a pleasant surprise! It was worth the drive. The fairway and the green is very well maintained and worth the money.

Course is fun, and looking greAt in feb! Great round

Good course, bring your lag putting, you'll need it, pilots have greens here in mind if runways are occupied at Travis AFB.

Course was in tremendous shape for as much rain as we had last week.
Greens were AWESOME !

course was in gea shape, i always enjoy playing at Rancho, for sure I'll go back.

We had to push our cart for the last 5 holes. We finally found someone to call it in to the clubhouse with their GPS/Computer system. They asked three times if we really needed another cart. They finally brought someone out with one cart to pull us back on the 18th hole.

needs some work but this is the middle of winter. I enjoy the challenge...especially on the back nine.

Picked up a great deal 32.00 at 12:30, I called to see if it was possible to slide a 5th person in and was abruptly told no. They were running about 15 minutes behind our tee time. The fairways were sloppy yet so it was cart path only, which caused us to run further behind. GPS, seemed to be off in the carts. Also, there was a massive amount of divots om the greens, (not the courses fault, players fault) but still noticeable. We were constantly backed up through the day, grabbed a sandwich at the turn, great food, but pricey, 17.00 for a club sandwich and a vitamin water. We only ended up making it to the 14th hole by 5pm. Overall impressive course, challenging, great views and grounds. I will try the course again in hopes it was a perfect storm of issues.

Really good course both lay out and condition . Pace of play was terribly slow . I started at 12 noon and there were 3 foursomes on the 1st tee waiting . Ahead of my group was 2 foursomes of older ladies. They were nice enough but our round took 4 hours and 40 minutes. Could have finished faster because rest of the course not that crowded and there were several holes open ahead of ladies ahead of us.
