The Club at Crazy Horse Ranch

It’s a good course that gets a lot of play. I thought one hole had an unfair layout extremely sloped left-right and the greens were very fast, with extreme edges were the ball would fall off if you’re above the hole. Can’t imagine how fast this course gets in mid-summer. I understand the course defensive setup. I enjoyed the round with my newly acquainted playing partners. You definitely need course knowledge to navigate this track. Luckily, one of them has played the course a few times. Thanks for the enjoyable day!!

This course is best for intermediate golfers and beyond who enjoy hitting their targets with some forgiveness on fairway width. Greens were well manicured, while driving range was very sandy making it difficult to hit a clean practice shot.

I love everything about this course. Very well kept up from t’s to fairways to greens::,which I hope one day figure out! The bunkers have quality and fairly easy to get out of.

The pro shop always polite and friendly. The restaurant staff the same. Great lunches and breakfast burritos!

The T boxes excellent . Fairways excellent . The greens are killing me. One of these centuries I will figure them out, but fantastic. I love that you can actually see which way the grass is laying!!!!

BTW, you need to know that there could be huge dust cloud come from the neighboring farm at hole 10 from time to time.

this is a perfect course for seniors with the tips being just over 6,000 yds. I enjoyed playing it very much with lots of hills and valleys. The grounds are impeccable and the landscaping is very well done. Amazing to come upon it among fields full of strawberries and other produce being grown in the area. My only criticism is the size of the greens. They reminded me of pitch and putt courses, with the width of some barely 30 feet - tiny is a good description. It was an enjoyable Friday afternoon with the course basically empty, which was great!

Was very excited to try this course for the first time. Boy was I happy I did. The practice facility is excellent. Chipping area, bunker area, grass range and large putting green. The men’s locker room was very clean with thick towels to dry your hands. The greens are small, fast and roll true. The fairways are well maintained as well. It’s not long but it’s still a good test. Will test your driving accuracy, iron approach game, short game and putting skills. It’s a fair test. Rewarding accuracy and providing penalties for being out of position. It reminded me a lot of Castlewood in Pleasanton. The on course restrooms were super nice as well. Like a bathroom you would find in a persons home. Country club play with public access. Will definitely be going back!
