Consistency
Need to be more consistent with the beverage cart. We were told one was out there, there wasn't, this happens all the time. And some of the whole placements are absolutely ridiculous, those greens are hard enough as it is! Overall the great place, for a nine-hole course it sure can kick a decent player's butt
Bob
Course was wet. Golf cart paths only. But great shape as usuall.
Great place
Ever since the restoration has been done, the Yards has not disappointed. Conditions on the course are excellent and I am pleased that walking is an option. The original front nine has been to toughened which makes it challenging. but fun. The additional three regulation holes are a neat addition as well the three short holes. The short practice area is a great place to sharpen your game. If you are looking for an alternative to other courses in the area, you need to check out The Yards. Keep it up!!!!
Fun course but priced a bit high
The course is basically the same as the original Oakbridge course and it is in very good condition. It was very wet but the greens were still very smooth and fast.
Good course with fast greens
Nice course. It has its share of water hazards and challenging, tiered green making it a good challenge for the lower handicap player. Bunkers and cart paths are well cared for. Good staff from the head pro and shop staff to the friendly cart personnel.
Fun and Challenging Course!
The Yards was a good time. Staff was friendly, pace was quick (no one behind or after me on a weekday), and plenty of amenities. They give a free voucher to get some warm up swings at the range before golfing, which was definitely a nice perk. Greens were well kept. They were also quite challenging which was fun. The Florida rain soaked the course the night before so fairways were a little mushy but wasn’t bad at all. Played 12, the last 3 were quick little par 3’s behind the clubhouse/restaurant which was a nice way to end. Overall would recommend/would def play again!
Excellent course - Highly recommend
We have played this course a couple times and have enjoyed it. The front 9 is very challenging with quick and sloped greens. The back par-3 holes are fun to play. Highly recommend taking a trip to play here.
Very interesting but overpriced
Free bucket of balls and pristine conditions but even with a hotdeal it’s overpriced by $20 or so. Super nice place to work on the short game esp given 5 of the 12 holes are par 3. But get real for the same price you get 18 on a real par 72 course at Jax Beach
I’ll be back if there’s an outstanding hot deal and I’ve got credits to burn
Oh and there are no 100-150 markers and the cart gps didn’t work
Great course
This is one of mine and my sons favorite courses in the area to play. The course is always in great shape when we play, staff is friendly. The only thing I can suggest for improvement is spreading out the tee times a little more than 10 minutes from each one. The course can get backed up with some foursomes pretty easily. Other than that I will continue to come back and play.
Great shape and Great layout
The course is in great shape with a fun layout. Obviously wish it was 18 holes and me and my group were a little skeptical of a 12 hole course but honestly it was worth the money and will play it again.
Hard one to review :
Conditions were great though the greens could be a bit more forgiving. What can’t be excluded is the price - if you nab a hot deal for $50 that’s a $75 round given this is only 12 holes. And that’s being generous as 10-12 are just par 3s !
Personally I’d take the old Oakbridge course (when it was being maintained) and it’s 18 holes for under $20.
Sawgrass’ backyard
Great fun course, well presented and a very enjoyable round
