Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

PERFECT CONDITIONS!
I really had a great time! I parred the 4th (par-4), which is difficult; I also parred the 17th (par-5), and 18th (par-3)! The greens were in great shape - near-perfect speed! I recommend this course!
Decent enough for the price
Price point makes this course clearly better than many in so cal. Greens were decent enough and I had a pretty fun time with friends.
Always a fun Course
Not a bad round of golf course, a little challenging on some holes,but always have fun playing here...
Definitely worth the money
At $29 for a twilight rate, we got in about 15 holes, this course exceeded my expectations. Will play here again.
Very unique course. The course itself is in great condition. Best greens and fairways I’ve played. It’s kind of a strange place. The facilities are right out of the 70’s, but the course is phenomenal. They obviously put all their money into the course, which is awesome. It’s got some really crazy elevation changes where the fairway comes out of the river bed up to the greens on top of the levee banks. Very tight fairways on many holes. Overall great course.
Fun Hilly Course
This local gem was in great condition. Played 7am with another single and a double. All carts. Still quite a few hills. Greens in good condition with some tricky reads just due to the variation in colors, but the surface was pretty smooth. Got firmer and faster as day went on and sun came out. A lot of the fairways were a bit narrow with sand all along one side, local regular playing with us said this was part of some course modification to widen or narrow fairways? And can be considered ground under repair, and not on. I had a few land in this area, but still playable, so I just played it as a fairway bunker instead of taking reliefnornan OB penalty. Overall, fun course. Not too hard, but probably challenging enough for most everyone. Very friendly staff.

PERFECT CONDITIONS!
Overall, the course and the conditions were great! Fairways weren't as nice as last month, but great improvement on the 4th hole! RV extended fairway grass about 40' down to riverbed. I recommend this golf course! Dano
I love course. Always have a great time and you never know who you might just meet out there by a chance encounter like we did this past weekend when our 4th was a no show last minute. Turned out to be an excellent round’!
GORGEOUS GOLF DAY!
Course was in decent condition - last time I played RV the fairways were a little better! Greens were excellent - perfect speed! Snack bar closed earlier than usual...no after-golf-beer! Otherwise, I recommend RV to every golfers! Dano
