Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

First Timer and a visitor.
This course has a lot of interest and is challenging. It may be a little primitive in some ways but it has a good and welcoming feel. A lot of fun for the money.
Greens were in great condition. A lot of holes are similar layout by the river but still a good track to play. Played early morning and walked the course in 3hr 20 min. Value is unbeatable for the area. Would play this course again and again for the price.
Lots of challenging holes along the river.
With the Santa Ana River in the background, it is not easy to conquer the green with many indentations, but it is a fun hole to play.
Good Monday at a Muni
Packed Monday morning but pace was consistent. Under 4.5 hrs. Not a lot of waiting to hit. Greens are fabulous...fairways and rough were ok. Staff was great. What more do you want for $40?

Great day for a tournament! RIVERVIEW has done a great job expanding its fairways into the riverbed...next year the course should be pristine!

I play here about 10-12 times a year, I like the course , staff, and value. It’s a coin flip who you play behind, really not the golf courses fault. Also this is not a good golf course for beginners, very challenging . Pace of play this time was horrible, will be back again though as this course is worth it.
Good fairways and greens
Mostly fine conditions except tee boxes. Greens currently in good condition, fairways also. Always a fun round!
Tough course
Very strange layout.
Having a fade on your drive makes it very hard to hit fairways.
Greens are very fast but in good condition.
Very easy to lose balls.
We played on a weekday afternoon,, pace was good hardly anybody there, I like this place, greens always in good conditions.
Good Time at the View
The course was in good shape. It’s also fairly cheap and close to home. Hitting straight is a must. Not overly brutal, but challenging.
Parking is horrible and very sketchy.
Pace was much better this time which was very surprising based off of how crowded it was.
