Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

Continued improvement
The greens are getting good, so uch better than a few years ago. The fairways and tee boxes are in good condition - the bunkers have a little ‘splashy ‘ sand, unlike various other places nearby. Overall - a good condition challenging course well worth playing.
Dog Track
Very windy day but still that doesn’t take away from the horrific fairway conditions. Greens were in good shape but overall rating for the course is a 3 at best. Perhaps it used to be nice but those days are way behind us. Won’t play again or recommend this course to my fellow golfers.
No Marshall
Had a good time was a little frustrating with the group in front of us incredibly slow and inconsiderate, and there was no Marshall to help rectify the issue
Hidden Gem!
Not what you would expect for $43…but wow.
The condition of this course was amazing, from fairways to the greens…not what you would expect specifically in OC.
I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a challenging course….and wait to you try their food…..so delicious and inexpensive….best burger in OC!!!!!

Surprisingly Good Course
Very surprised at how good conditions the greens were. Fairways were so-so. Tee boxes were decent. Can’t beat the value for the money. Would definitely play here again.
Quirky
It’s an old funky course. But greens were fine, fairways so so, pace of play good price great.
Always pleasant
Always pleasant, always a crush on holes 2, 3 and 4 - but that soon spreads out and the pace is reasonable.
First Timer and a visitor.
This course has a lot of interest and is challenging. It may be a little primitive in some ways but it has a good and welcoming feel. A lot of fun for the money.
Greens were in great condition. A lot of holes are similar layout by the river but still a good track to play. Played early morning and walked the course in 3hr 20 min. Value is unbeatable for the area. Would play this course again and again for the price.
Lots of challenging holes along the river.
With the Santa Ana River in the background, it is not easy to conquer the green with many indentations, but it is a fun hole to play.
