Situated within the Santa Ana Riverbed, River View Golf Course is conveniently located just minutes from Disneyland, Anaheim, and Long Beach. The course's design intertwines with the river, providing challenging hazards on several holes. The narrow layout also features elevated greens that rarely offer a flat lie and are fiercely guarded by sand. Accuracy is a necessity throughout this golf course. Although it offers a fair amount of challenges, there is also ample room off the tees that makes the course more accessible for beginners. River View G.C. is also popular for its practice facilities, which include a driving range with targets and the county's largest putting course. While the other facilities may be modest, River View offers an affordable game that is one of Orange County's best values.

The greens are very nice.
The course layout is unique because of the dry river running through the course. Several holes tee off from about the river and fairways border the dry river. The course must be totally different when water is running through the course. The fairways are okay, but a few need work. The greens are in great shape.
The clubhouse and pro shop are definitely old school.
I recommend the course because it is unique. While it's not long, you have to drive accurately or you'll be penalized.
Strange Course
Odd layout that goes back and forth over a “river”. The “river” is just a dried up wash that you drive through multiple times. Greens were in good shape but everything else was run down

Course configuration is interesting. It is around Santa Ana River and up and down continuously. So funny and challenging!! Close to my home too.
First Time at RiverView - Great Experience
Fun just confusing
So you play in a storm drain, or wash whatever. But no beverage carts or marshals to tell you where you aiming for. Our group lucked out and had a guy who has played there before to tell us where to aim. Not bad tho. I’ve greens, just fix the divots LOL
SUCKED HARD
took an hour to play the first 3 holes, a short par 4 & 2 par 3's... and we were still waiting on the fourth tee.

Memorial Day golf
Very nice booked a foursome on Memorial Day then had two flakes. Could have charged me for the foursome but didn’t just paired us with another twosome
Great Value
Great value with this course. The course is in good shape. The holes range from easy to challenging. The layout was quite interesting. The only complaint I had was the pace, as it was quite slow. Well worth playing. We had a great eve.
The course for some reason could not find my reservation. Then they wanted to charge me more than what I had signed up for
Great Value for Weekend Golf
We're visiting friends and booked here for Sunday golf. Fair pricing for a foursome with carts. I definitely wouldn't walk this course! Was a little slow but that's expected on the weekend.
