University of Georgia Golf Course

when I went they were reconstructing the course so many shots over Mexican workers. most players walk the course which is probably a better plan . wide fairways with plenty of room to land a ball. Nice scenery, especially the female UGA students. main challenges are chipping onto and putting undulated greens.

After playing this course you can see how they keep churning out quality tour pros. Lots of undulation forced carrys up hill down hill shots to fast undulated greens. When you miss the green. You have to chip to certain spots to have a chance to get up and down.

I played this course first time and I live it. The driving range and practice area are excellent. The coursw condition is great. The green is very fast. i like walking and nice to see many students walking. The inky thing that you have to be patient for the slow riund

The course is in ok shape for it to be winter. Greens are fast.

Very nice course with great staff. Depending on which tee box you play (played silver) it's a fairly long course. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape but needed more people to fix divots. Lots of elevated greens that were also protected. Greens rolled true with lots of sloping.

For a lot of golfers, this may be as close as you get to August. Not the conditioning -- though it's pretty good -- but the greens, the hilliness of the course and the look of some of the holes. All of this for far less than $100. There are putts on these elevated undulating greens that are probably every bit as hard as some of the ones at Augusta and holes that require you to work the ball like you were a the Masters. No wonder so many great players have come out the Bulldog golf program. The home course is perfect training.

This course is the home course for perennial SEC champion UGA golfers. Great greens and a great challening course. Go after 3pm and you get the twilight rate. Otherwise with all the other courses around your money goes further at them. Many elevation changes aound the course make sure to club up!! My two favorite holes are the par 5 12th hole and par 3 13th. A must play course to keep challenging your game.
