Country Land Golf Course

Country Land is a very solid course, worth a hot deal plus a coupon. Tee shots have to be in the right spot. Gotta play the hills here. Lots of approach shots either downhill or up. Greens very soft, still have lots of break in some pin locations. Everyone is very nice, you do have a lot of beginners, be patient!

Played 18 and they have some fun holes that offer some nice challenges. The tee boxes were excellent, fairways were great and the greens were firm and fast. The staff was friendly as well and no problems with pace of play.

Played on a Saturday afternoon, course was full as expected. Driving on the driveway to the clubhouse was a mess, to access some of the holes you have to use the regular vehicle driveway in the golf cart. No driving range, not a huge deal but I prefer to warm up before a round. Clubhouse staff very friendly, as was the course marshall.

The layout of the course is a bit of a nightmare. I wouldn’t play here without coming with someone who is familiar with the course. A ton of elevation changes, many of the tee shots are blind and the course is so sloped that a seemingly fine tee shot will roll off into the ether and never be found. Also it is a bit of a scavenger hunt finding some of the tee boxes as the signage is sketchy.

Greens were pretty but rolled bumpy and speed was inconsistent. Some of the tee boxes could use some work.

At the end of the day, they did the best they could with the terrain they had. At $45 for a Saturday lunchtime round I believe the cost is very fair.

There are numerous holes that intersect that put you in potential land zones of other players drives. There are also numerous tee shots and fairways where the landing area is blind. We were hit into numerous times and the people doing it had no idea.

Played this course a lot time ago and it is still a fun course to play. There are no two holes the same
