Chapel Hills Golf Course

The owner is really neglecting this course. The range is a cow pasture. The greens aren’t being attended to, bumpy, shaggy and in poor condition. Cups not moved in days. Bunkers are unattended and full of rocks and pebbles. Pace of play is 5 hours at best. Washed out areas and fairways have been blown off from all the grass clippings. Branches and trees that have been cut are just left where they fell. Not sure what Bobby Jones Golf Links is doing for their fees. Heard the owner is just milking it for the money and it looks like it. He has zero golf background and it shows. Oh yeah, forget getting food at the turn unless you have a spare 20 mins. No grab and go food.

For a course that charges 100+ by the time you add range balls and taxes, the greens are good but that's about it. Tee boxes are rough and choppy, fairways are not groomed well, very rough and you can see the water run areas, and there was little to no rain in the last week. Sand traps are hit and miss. Some nice, some very hard with clay right under the surface so your club just bounces. Doesn't look like turned in months. Just not the value or experience I would expect for that pricing.

Good course, normally in good conditions. A bit more detail and it could be a phenomenal course .

Tee boxes and driving range have been steady deteriorating since new owner took over. Unfortunate since they want to charge 8 bucks in addition to your green fee to warm up on range. Great staff. Course is just very shabby.

Greens are nice

A buddy and I greatly enjoyed an afternoon round here. Played at our own pace with no one around. Perfect winter conditions with dormant fairways and smooth greens.

I’ve used Golf Now to do the “member for a day” booking a few times. Course is great! Greens are firm and fast but still fun to play. Couple of holes that are challenging but overall love playing here

if you are a golfer, do not waste your time. 6 hour round of golf with no accountability. Mike, in pro shop, shady character. Told me he would refund me for a player out of foursome that backed out same day. Then told Golfnow not to. Complete waste!! Feel terrible for anyone who actually is a member. $20 course, tops and they charge $100. Save your money. So many better options and you won’t deal with this guy who works there. Real piece of work!!

6 hour round of golf with no one pushing groups in front. If you are thinking of playing here, or even worse, becoming a member, move on.

Mike, in pro shop, mentioned he would refund a golf now cancellation of 1 party of 4, so 3 showed up to play in the misery of 6 hours, and he’s giving me the run around. Sad for a need to get an attorney for this guy…

Crazy! If you’re a golfer, other options, almost any other option will be a better choice for you. Don’t waste your time!
