Extremely slow play. Driving range look like moon surface
5.5 hours to play on Sunday. No Marshall all day. At check in was told they may not have enough charged carts. Drivingly range looked like the moon surface. Craters everywhere.. would not go back
Disappointing
I get that it's still winter, but this course is in bad shape. More dirt than there is grass. The greens are alright except for the moon craters from unrepaired ball marks and giant scuffs from what I can imagine is people trying to do the moonwalk across the greens. As if that weren't enough, I'm fairly sure not a single person on this course rakes the bunkers when they are finished. They looked like the beach of Normandy on D Day.
Pace of play was a bone chilling 5 hours and change which I guess shouldn't be a surprise considering the above mentioned quality of folks playing here. Nobody cares if you are bad at golf, just don't be slow, and take care of the course.
Staff is friendly, that's about the only thing I can say that was a positive experience.
Good Greens - Winter Conditions
Course is in good shape for Winter conditions. Limited grass in tee boxes and # 10 tee box is closed, so it plays as a par 3 instead.
Ask the staff about #10 when you get there, no one told me the first time, and I sent one over some construction workers.
Hidden Gem
First time playing a couple days after a huge storm and course was in great shape. Bentgrass greens were fantastic shape. Good layout with lots of opportunity to score.
Average Joe
All Players,
Please pick your feet up when on the green. It scars the putting surface.
Repair your ball marks on the green. If you can’t find yours repair someone else’s.
Greens Keeper,
The new cut is good but the repaired location is rough .
Very good course
This was my first time playing this course. You better bring your "A" game, the greens are very challenging. I will play this course again! It was worth every penny!
One of my top 3 courses I like to play. Very nice place to play.
Great course and challenging!
Great to play and challenges you to plan your shots
Exceeded my expectations......
greens were in terrific shape!!
Great course!
Awesome course and fun layout! One of the few publicly available courses in the metro that is actually worth the money. Most of the tee boxes could use some work, but everything else was great. Will be back
Sandy Tee Boxes, Excellent Greens
Several tee boxes (#7, #11, #15) were almost completely covered in sand. The tees were like playing out of a shallow fairway bunker. Unacceptable for a private club.
The green rolled very well. However, I felt (even as a 1 handicap) they the pins were way too difficult today. 3 holes on the back 9 were placed on shelves with dropoffs surrounding the hole locations on 2-3 sides. I watched two different guys on two different holes from 40 feet have more on their return putt than their initial putt.
Excellent People. Excellent Facilities. Excellent Course.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time playing this course. Fairways were plush and greens were immaculate. The facilities as a whole were inviting. If I lived near this course I would definitely be a member.
