About
Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a public, 27-hole layout in Gainesville. The course is tucked amongst the Appalachian foothills, giving it a scenic terrain of rolling hills. The holes are divided into three nines: the Village, the Mill, and the School, that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Five sets of tees provide even more variety. The Village nine is the longest of the three and it's also the driest. There is only a small lake beside the second hole. That doesn't mean the golf course isn't challenging though, you'll still face several strategically placed bunkers. There are a few scattered trees but the course is mostly open and offers some room for error. In addition to the 27 holes, Chicopee Woods G.C. also has a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

It’s been awhile
I hadn’t been up there in perhaps 8-10 years. It was always pretty good but they’ve really outdone themselves on the whole experience. Great practice facility, good lies all over the place, friendly staff. Sandwich was expensive for what it was, but whatever. Bravo to these guys.
Daughters first big girl course
This is the best bang for your buck. Take your kids here for a fun quick round. Highly recommend course oh and she sank a 10 footer for bogey on hole one.

Chicopee is always in great condition and never fails to provide a great golfing experience.

This is by far my most favorite course to play to date. Beautiful greens and course all around. The amenities upgrade looks terrific and I’d say this place is well worth every penny.
Fun Challenging Course
Played the Village and School courses. They are deceivingly challenging but fun. Will play again when in town.
Best bang for your buck course around.
Got a hotdeal on this course for a good price so decided to try it out. It blew me away. Absolutely flawless greens, cart paths, and sand boxes. Fairways were almost perfect. Even the flowers and shrubbery were very well maintained on every hole. 10/10 for the price for sure.
Like our own private club
The course was in great shape, starting to green up nicely. Greens were rolling great. The weather was calling for T-storms and strong winds, so the course was pretty much empty. But it ended up being a beautiful day and we played as a threesome and never saw anyone in front or behind us. A perfect day in the links!
