About
The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Davis Love III, Laurel Island Links measures 7029 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 140 and a 74.6 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels.
This design by PGA Tour player Davis Love III is quite remarkable. Laurel island resides on the banks of the vast Crooked River marsh that provides a stunning backdrop for holes two, three, and six.
The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Golfer Reviews
Great Value! Great Staff! Excellent layout!
For the money you can’t find a better value. The course is in really good shape. You can tell there has been some upgrades in areas, as there was one bunker under full repair. I live in Jacksonville and the quick drive up I-95 is well worth it considering there are many local (Jax) courses that charge too much and are not in good playing shape (CC of Orange Park is a prime example of maintenance on the cheap). Overall, my first experience was enjoyable and I 100% recommend to get up to Kingsland and play this DL3 design. Cheers!
Great value and fun
Was a great round of golf. The course is a fun layout and offers great value compared to other courses in the area. Always a pleasure to play.
Course in good condition
Course is in good condition and greens are firm and quick. Would like to see more golf accessories in the pro shop like club brushes.
Great Round
Greens were fast but good pin positions allowed for making putts. Golf carts were clean and ran great. Look forward to playing this course many more times. Great service by Proshop staff.
Always love this place
The course has always been great. They’ve done a lot of work and it’s getting better.

VERY WELL MAINTAINED COURSE ESPECIALLY FOR WINTER PLAY! WILL DEFINITELY PLAY AGAIN! SOME CHALLENGING HOLES! TEES, GREENS, & FAIRWAYS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE!
Superb golf experience
Can’t say enough about this great golf club. Beautiful course with so great holes many with marsh views. Course in excellent condition. Greens in great shape. Despite a great course the people were even better! Super friendly and helpful. I left my jacket on the range. It was returned to the pro shop by a young man who works for the course . Nothing missing. Benny the club pro sought me out in the dining room / bar after my round. He introduced himself and thanked me for playing at his club. Who does that? So friendly and professional. Did I mention the fee was $32 with a cart! Maybe the best golf value anywhere. Honestly, you owe it to yourself to play here.

Course was in nice shape! Some challenging holes but fair! Staff very friendly, greens true! Would definitely play again!
Very nice course for cost
I really enjoy playing here when I'm down in this area. It's a fine layout and for the price online it's worth it.
Traps could use some tending but overall you won't be disappointed.
Good Time Golfing
This was my first time at the course. I hit a few balls at their driving range before teeing off. A book is provided describing each hole. Read it, as there are a few hidden dangers. Great value for the money.
From Jax
The course is in great shape especially for this time of year. The greens were rolling excellent.
We have been coming up from JAX for several years and
Always enjoy the round.
The lunch was awesome. My compliments to the chef!.
We’ll be back soon.
Excellent condition with a friendly staff
Staff was very friendly upon arrival and addressed all my needs. They even offered if I wanted to go off early. The course was in excellent condition for the middle of January. Restaurant and bar was very clean and appealing, very comfortable.
Great course #1
The course is well maintained and conditions were the best so far this year. The rains have still caused some access problems but didn't take away from the enjoyment. Young bucks still have problems with play that is slower than they like. We left a twosome through as they could not be held by us a slower foursome. That's the way golf should be played. If you have other important things to do you shouldn't be playing golf when the most of us seniors will play ready golf. We like to play but we don't like those that want to rush. Conduct here was great. Thanks and we will be back.
Great course
I was visiting family for the holiday weekend and played a round by myself. The starter put me out on the back 9 so I could play faster but I joined a twosome on the first hole and we had a great time. Joined a different twosome when I made it to the front and turned out to be a very enjoyable day on a beautiful course.
