Laurel Island Links
About
The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. This design by PGA Tour player Davis Love III is quite remarkable. Laurel island resides on the banks of the vast Crooked River marsh that provides a stunning backdrop for holes two, three, and six.
The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

StrongRecommendation-GolfNowValue
Laurel Island Links is in tremendous condition & course has responded well from recent rain. It's much firmer & dryer than Jekyll Island courses & worth just an easy 20 minute drive from the Brunswick area for its fine lay out. Overseeding is complete & is already looking nice. Greens were smooth, true rolling at a moderate pace. The Davis Love course design is great, offering several tee choices to present a challenge to all levels of golfers. It's blend of openness & natural scenery lends itself to a wonderful experience. Club house staff was friendly. Our group booked on GolfNow took advantage of a "Hot Deal". When you can merge the GN deals with this course, it's as if they're giving golf away. Don't miss it!
GREAT COURSE ,FUN TO PLAY
THIS COURSE HAS GREAT SCENERY WITH SOME FUN AND CALLENGING HOLES, GOOD COURSE FOR THE MONEY.
View down 1st fairway is spectacular
Golf was our reason for being there but hard to miss the alligator, wood storks and roseate spoonbills to name a few of the sights as well as the surrounding marsh/estuary yellows in sharp contrast to the lush green fairway. The rest of the course did not disappoint!
Wow... Worth the ride!!
I'm from Jacksonville, my neighbor shared he liked the course, I went alone to check it out! Wow.... Unbelievable price meant low expectation, I was so wrong. Great scenery, matched up with some great guys, and course was challenging and rewarding! Tough pin placement, but fun all 18 hole. Greens and tee box, very nice. Greens, pretty fast and plenty of slopes, can make you feel like a PGA pro or break your putter!! Enjoy...
Mr.
It had rained for two days before we played, but the course drains well. The course conditions were great.
Love this course
We always enjoy playing here. Course is in great shape. Always stay for lunch. Cold beer and food is excellent.
Great October fall day.
Well worth the drive from Jacksonville.
Great layout in very good condition.
2 players, 18 holes, in 2:45 hours. 12:30 tee time
Very Nice Course
This course is very nice, and in very good condition. There were a few minor flaws in the greens, and it would only affect you, if you had to play through that area. Conditions overall were very good.
Fun course
Great course with enough variety to make it challenging. Not crowded and the course is in good shape. The staff at the bar makes you feel like you are walking into Cheers.
We love this course and wish it was in better shape
We both love this layout and like to play this course but it really wasn't in that good of condition. The greens were very slow and since it had rained alot in the past few weeks, the fairways were slow and the rough high. We will be back but only after a week or so of dry weather. It was cart path only so it was a little longer, time wise, to play.
Would play every day
Beautiful course in great shape. Lots of rain had course very wet, was cart paths only
Thumbs up
I definitely would recommend playing this course. Pace builds as you go because the back nine is a bit harder than the front. Wide open fairways, few hidden hazards and well maintained sand traps. Had an enjoyable day.
Great value
Nice course in good condition. Wide fairways but some challenging long holes. Always a very good value!
Value
Great course for the price. Well maintained, wide open course.
Beautiful course
Will definitely be playing here again . This is a all around great place
great place to play!
It was a great value for the money! The course was in great shape and played very fairly for our foursome.
Laurel Links
Great course for the money! Some tricky holes, but a good course for all levels of play.
Great Value
Played a wonderful round for our first time here. Very quiet, tranquil.... Booked another 18 holes for the next day too.
