Laurel Island Links
About
The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Very nice layout
Our first, and hopefully not last, time playing Laurel Island Links. Nice wide fairways, well maintained bunkers and lovely greens are what you'll find. A very welcoming proshop and excellent pratice putting green was a great way to get us going.
We think all levels of golfers would really enjoy this course.
Good Day
Did not know what to expect, was pleasantly pleased. Average golfer ( whch I am ) can enjoy this course and the good golfer hitting from the blues or the tips can be challenged. Golf Now please keep this one on your list.
Fairways were tight lies everywhere
We enjoyed this course and found it a good value for this area. Due to winter conditions, fairways were sparse, making for tight lies everywhere in bounds. Greens were in excellent condition and play moved along in the afternoon when we played.
Great Features
This course has great features. It escorts you thru a neighborhood and around marsh land. The front nine offers a reachable par 4 and par 5. The par 3's are surrounded by water. The back nine is more difficult, all par 4's are long. You are forced to draw and fade the ball for a good score. Good course!!
Great front nine!
Great front nine with marsh views that leads to a back nine thru a neighborhood. Would loe to just play the front twice.
Course was in good condition but the wind made it tougher than it should have been. It was a three club wind and sometimes that was not enough.
Will return for sure on a less windy day.
A nice course to play
It was very windy so scoring wasn't easy. Holes layed out well. Greens were a little slow but rolled true. Sorry for food rating-- we didn't eat anything but couldn't get the rating off.
excellent
This course was excellent!! The condition was great, some of the best looking greens I have seen in awhile.
Laurel Island Links
We arrived before our tee time and were allowed to go out earlier than expected. I asked about the number of players and was told a 5some went about about 1/2 hour earlier, and I knew we'd catch them pretty quick. A single was out behind them. I asked about the possibility of going off 10, and he said as long as no one was coming down 9, OK do it. We got to 10 found a 4some ahead of us. Decided to take our time, and had an enjoyable 9 holes, under 2 hrs. On 18, the 5some arrived at 10, now 2+ hours for the 1st nine, and lo and behold, the single was sitting on the tee box, just waiting. We played the front nine by ourselves with not a sole on it. played overall about 3 hours. I am very much opposed to 5somes as more times than not they figure they own the course and have no obligation to let people through. The Laurel Oaks pro shop is way above average but the 5some issue needs to be addressed, even though it didn't affect us directly.
Great Course
Love playing this course it is one of the course that I always play well at. The greens were in fantastic shape. The overall course is excellent. The staff very friendly.
awesome
This course has it all. From blue tees, challenging on length and shot making. Great greens, lots of breaks but smooth role. Practice area grass range and great putting green. Those from area jnow of King And Prince at St. Simmons. This course has similar views, very comparable half the cost. Thank you...I should have played this earlier...
Great course!!!!
Had a 1:30 Monday tee time and the course was absolutely empty. A shame considering it was 76 degrees in late December. The course was in great shape for the time of year. Challenging but not intimidating layout. I rode as a single and finished just under three hours. Had an absolute blast and actually going back this Friday to have at it again. Yoo Hoo la da da dity da
Great Golf Course
Take extra balls, water plays in several holes, specially 6.
18 holes at Laurel Island
The course has some challenging holes, but it is very enjoyable to play. We have played here several times when we visit the area and have always found it to be a great course.
Laurel Island
Very nice course with a great price on golfnow. The course is about average difficulty on the front but the back is quite long. Many of the bunkers were a little wet but otherwise the course was in great shape. There are some great views of the marsh and some wildlife. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely play here again.
excellent buy
root a great price from golf now.com for a Sunday afternoon round. the greens were in good shape and I enjoyed putting on them. the fairways were OK but I wish the public would repair the divots. we used up both bottles of sand by the third hole.
Best public course on the Georgia coast.
The course is in excellent condition. Great value, very friendly staff. Always enjoy playing this course.
Laurel Island Links
Greens rolled true and were consistent. I would definitely recommend the course.
Laurel Island Links Kingsland, Ga.
We have golfed from texas to numerous courses on the east coast. We recently found Laurel Island Links and it is a keeper. The course ranger looks after you like no where else...he makes sure you are not held up and stops by consistently to make sure you are enjoying your golf game. He keeps tabs on all players and the game is never slow and held up... You cannot beat the price..it is a win win. We highly recommend you won't be disappointed.
This course offers a challanging expperince to all golfers.
Many of the approach shots can prove to be challenging. But, overall the golfing experience is well worth it.
Challenging course
Have played this course before and not too long ago. It was in better condition than I've ever seen. Davis Love group manages the course now. The holes are challenging and play long. There are 2 holes on the marsh and the birds were out in numbers but no alligator this time. They have large greens that putted beautifully. Lots of sand, water and natural areas that all come into play. Best to be on your game when you play here, sneaky hard with fun par 3's.
