The 18-hole Laurel Island Links in Kingsland, Georgia is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Davis Love III, Laurel Island Links measures 7011 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 138 and a 74.8 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
This design by PGA Tour player Davis Love III is quite remarkable. Laurel island resides on the banks of the vast Crooked River marsh that provides a stunning backdrop for holes two, three, and six.
The second nine roams inland working toward a secluded section of pine forest. The course is softly shaped and tinged in gentle southern atmosphere, opened in 1997. There is a light touch and quiet interaction with nature. You can play a beautiful, meditative golf at Laurel Island Links Laurel Island is approximately 25 minutes north of Jacksonville, FL. From Jacksonville take I-95 north to Georgia exit 6 and head east for two miles. Laurel Island Parkway will be on the left.

Had Fun
Course is always fun but greens are in need of rain as are most courses now, Of you like slow greens this is your course. No cart staff. No water on course so bring your own. Paired up with two great friendly players. Will play there again.
Very Solid Course well worth the price.
This place had a great driving range, and most of the greens and fairways were in great shape. Pretty standard coastal Georgia course (my favorite). Would definitely recommend.
Great time, great people, great course
First visit. Slightly older clubhouse, but great staff friendly service good food. Very straight course, but helpful for a beginner like me. I was a single payer with threesome. Felt welcomed. I had a great time and will be back
Greens and fairways need help.
Great layout. The greens , especially the back nine are in sad shape as are the fairways.
I hope the conditions improve , I really enjoy playing there.

A lot of bald spots on greens, slow & in rough shape!
A decent amount of the greens are in terrible shape. The course seems to be pretty well taken care of other than that.
Laurel Links nice course
Laura links is a nice course. My wife and I had a great time and the staff was extremely nice. Could do with a few less gators. Seems like every hole had water had a gator on it. We will definitely play it again.
Newly re-worked
Bunkers were newly re-worked with white sand and some redesign. Only negative was greens need some work, but understand that is coming.
Nice course nestled in a lovely neighborhood
Our weekly group decided to play somewhere other than our usual course and settled on Laurel Island Links. The course was challenging and a lot of fun. Being a neighborhood course, some fairways felt narrow, but luckily for me, my golf balls didn’t stray too far off course. The greens were fast but fair. We will definitely put this course on our list to play again.
Play was a little slow. The greens could use some work!!
Good course
Overall, the course is good. The greens are not in very good shape though.
Worth the money
Course is challenging, that particular day they had thrown sand on greens for maintenance but I'm sure that's why round was discounted. Staff is very friendly

Very nice course, in good condition for February. Very friendly staff. Pace of play was slow only due to following a senior league. In a beautiful neighborhood. Wil definitely go back.
