Will definitely return
Very nice course, in good condition for February. Very friendly staff. Pace of play was slow only due to following a senior league. In a beautiful neighborhood. Wil definitely go back.
Needs support
The layout was good. Course has a lot of potential but needs infrastructure improvements and additional daily maintenance. The carts are older models without gps. The cartways are heaving and broken. There were several days of leaves and pine cones in fairways. The greens were bumpy. The bathroom on the course was dirty with toilets plugged. Pace of play was good, 3:45. Lots of house construction and burning of brush when we played. Not going back.
Good first time visit
First time at this course although had been told by others that it was good. About 40 minutes from Amelia Island. Course was in very good shape for mid February. Played behind a senior men's league which were very slow. Enjoyed the round, would definitely go back.
Multiple Cart Fees
Be prepared if you are in a twosome to pay for 2 carts and only get one. The course is undergoing g renovations and the greens could be in better shape. Almost 200 bucks for two people on a Sunday for. Kingsland Ga course is not worth it. You do not get what you pay for.
Overpriced and poor conditions
Embarrassed to say I live here on this course. The owners are out of their mind with the pricing. This course is not worth the price. Conditions are poor. Greens need to be redone. Fairways are great. Sand traps are under construction and looking better. But none of that matters if your greens are out of shape and the cart path is like driving on a cobble stone pathway from the ancient times. The new owners clearly didn’t have the money to invest properly in this course and the people know it.
Great place
Really like this course. Staff is friendly and the pace of play was right on schedule. Course conditions were good.
Awful greens, great track
This DLIII track is fun to play, challenging yet fair. I play it when I visit my cousin in Jacksonville and have not been since covid hit. But, What happened to the GREENS?
I have never played a course in my 30+ years of golf with worse greens as I did 12/15/24.
Even worse was no one warned me they were so bad and apparently, this is Normal? Accepted?
Bar was awesome!
It will be some time before I return. I hope.
Luaral
There is work on going around the greens and some putting greens are in bad shape.
Under construction
The bunkers are under construction
The greens were spotty
Normally I love this course but I’ll wait a month before I go back
A Good Track, But...
I played this Davis Love-designed course when it opened and was impressed with everything.
When I played the other day, all the bunkers were closed and were being completely rebuilt, which is a good sign.
The fairways and greens were just OK.
This course has the potential to be a gem, and hopefully, it is heading in that direction.
Great course for the value… redoing bunkers which will greatly improve the course.
