About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Golfer Reviews
If only it would rain
The course is very dry. As a result the fairways are quite thin in many places. The greens, especially on the back nine, are coming in nicely whereas the ones on the front nine are patchy. The sand traps, redone a few years ago, are really nice. Great layout no matter what kind of game you have.
Great course, Great staff!
Had a blast on a beautiful day. Very friendly staff and a solid pace of play. Fun course!
Mow the greens
Guys, horrible mowing, Greens are of a circular shape. LEARN HOW TO MOW. You should be embarrassed.
Mow the GD greens...
Course is in typical shape for this time of year. I don't know if they are really extremely careful with the greens after the debacle they had last year, but jc, mow the greens. They are THE slowest things I've ever seen. It's like putting on shag carpet.
SLOOOWWWW!
It's such a shame they can't control pace of play here. The course is nice. Mediocre range and facility, but not bad at all. Everyone is friendly enough and the course is really great. I have been here 5 times over 3 years and literally every single time we either go off WAY later than our time or it's so backed up we had several groups stacked on every tee box. I don't know if they are overselling or what but it's abysmal. All it would take is a competent starter and a couple of marshalls. This is BY FAR the sowest course I have ever been to. I won't be back to see if they "fixed it" ever again.
Late winter round
Course for the time of year was in good condition greens were very good. But the pace on the back nine was awful. We stop after 15 and went home..
Come on man....
The Hurricane winds that blew this shed from the neighborhood onto the course and into the woods was about 6 months ago. Complete lack of care by golf course, come on guys be better. I really don't understand the complete lack of empathy about this, it looks like...... It is really not what you want to see when you're teeing off on 14. CLEAN IT UP!
Course Conditions
Last time I played Mystery Valley I legitimately could not tell the difference between the greens and a sand trap from the tee boxes. The course did not mention that the greens were under repair and the round was still priced as if the course was in pristine condition. Since then they have only spared in price and not gotten much better on conditions, play at your own risk.
Great Course Conditions
Mystery Valley worked hard to bring the course to where it is today. If you play here, repair your ball marks and divots. The greens are in very very good condition, the bunkers are in the best shape they've been in the past 10 years. Great clubhouse staff, full bar and grill. Mystery Valley makes for a great round of golf
Greens in great shape
The course is in really good condition.
Pace of play was a bit slow as 4:20 round.
Grill was open. No cart service.
Greens were rolling fairly true and faster than normal.
Will be going back this Fall.
Greens are back
I hadn’t played Mystery since last winter, when the greens were crusty and ruined, but was fairly pleased with the new greens. Hopefully they can take care of them this go round, I’ve always liked the layout aside from a few quirky holes
