Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Late winter round

Course for the time of year was in good condition greens were very good. But the pace on the back nine was awful. We stop after 15 and went home..

Decent track

Layout was good. Conditions were typical for winter. Greens in reasonable shape. I will play it again when it greens up.

Come on man....

The Hurricane winds that blew this shed from the neighborhood onto the course and into the woods was about 6 months ago. Complete lack of care by golf course, come on guys be better. I really don't understand the complete lack of empathy about this, it looks like...... It is really not what you want to see when you're teeing off on 14. CLEAN IT UP!

Course Conditions

Last time I played Mystery Valley I legitimately could not tell the difference between the greens and a sand trap from the tee boxes. The course did not mention that the greens were under repair and the round was still priced as if the course was in pristine condition. Since then they have only spared in price and not gotten much better on conditions, play at your own risk.

Great Course Conditions

Mystery Valley worked hard to bring the course to where it is today. If you play here, repair your ball marks and divots. The greens are in very very good condition, the bunkers are in the best shape they've been in the past 10 years. Great clubhouse staff, full bar and grill. Mystery Valley makes for a great round of golf

Greens in great shape

The course is in really good condition.

Pace of play was a bit slow as 4:20 round.

Grill was open. No cart service.

Greens were rolling fairly true and faster than normal.

Will be going back this Fall.

Greens are back

I hadn’t played Mystery since last winter, when the greens were crusty and ruined, but was fairly pleased with the new greens. Hopefully they can take care of them this go round, I’ve always liked the layout aside from a few quirky holes

Really slow play today

Course in good shape but pace of play needs monitoring. A marshall is @ the #1 tee box which helps with the start but once on the course we didn’t see a marshal which caused us to wait most of the day. Renovated greens are filled In nicely

Very Playable

Greens renovation a success & in good shape as is overall course. Tee boxes have been overseeded. Rough is thick & penal, causing additional time to locate ball & is difficult to hit from.

Recommend & would play again. Not busy day we played

Don't overlook this gem

I had heard about the problems they'd had with their greens and so I waited until they got that mess fixed, and fixed it they have. All the sand traps have also been fixed, so now not only will your putts roll true but you won't be dealing with hard pan in the bunkers. This is a really good track, at least when it is properly taken care of, and my partner and I had a great time today. I'll be back.

Fluffy rough

I like the course but Rhett have this very fluffy rough everywhere that just swallows golf balls whole. Spent so much time looking for balls that were a few feet off the fairway. They just disappear out there. Not a fan y’all gotta mow that stuff

Temporary Greens

The course had a great layout and would’ve been a lot of fun to play if there weren’t temporary greens. Didn’t realize this when we signed up for the tee time, and still paid full price for a course with 13 temporary greens.

Worth the price

Greens were just released for full play two days prior so they were really in good shape. Course layout is nice, plenty of challenges and some tight shots off the tee. If you try to play driver all the way through the course will punish you..
