About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Nice round
Been playing Mystery Valley for over 40 years, and it's always nice.
It's a county course, run by a management company who does it as cheaply as possible, so the course could be in better shape, but it's good for what it is.

Great course, good value
I always enjoy coming to Mystery Valley. I'm usually a single, almost always get placed with other golfers. Today was no exception, the guys I played with were great company. We all had a pretty good day! Course was in good shape, the weather was perfect.

A Hidden Gem!
This is a great run and a true gem on the east side of Atlanta. Pretty open with a lot of up and down; never a flat lie on the course which adds to the challenge. The new greens and tee boxes are innperfect condition. A must play course for sure.

Solid
We greens are great. We played a soaked round so it was cart path only. The guy in the clubhouse could use a lesson of customer service and the course could use a Marshall. Pace of play was very bad. No reason for a 6 hour round.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. The Valley is back
Hadn’t played Mystery Valley in years. Heard there were new greens and came to check it out myself.
Greens are great!! Course overall in great condition.

Great course with new greens
Excellent conditions but the rough is brutal. Cutting the rough down to 2” would help the pace of play by at least 30 minutes by reducing time spent looking for wayward shots.

New greens are great
It was my first time playing since the new greens opened and I was very pleased with them. They held most approach shots and rolled true. Bunkers also were in good shape and most fairways and tee boxes were good. Only minor issue was a slow foursome that wouldn't let the twosome ahead of me play through.

New greens roll great!
I was waiting for a Mystery Valley to complete their greens renovations and it did not disappoint. Only one green was a little patchy, but the rest had about 95% coverage with lush Bermuda. The greens were still a bit firm, which is to be expected but 100% playable and enjoyable.
Also, all the fairway and green side bunkers had ample sand and were all raked.
I paid 50 bucks on a Sunday morning and finish the round and 3 1/2 hours. Incredible for Atlanta golf.

The course is in great shape
The greens are open again after a summer of rebuilding. The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and especially the greens are in great shape. Best conditions I've seen in years.

Return to the Valley
After waiting 4 1/2 months to play on the new greens, it was worth the wait. Greens were outstanding with only minor blemishes on a few greens. Fairways, tee boxes and sand traps were very good also. Excellent public course.

Temporary greens
Good course (layout, fairways, pace), great staff, but I wouldn't have booked the tee time had I known they were using temporary greens
