About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

As good as anywhere
I played this course many times while living in ATL. Having now returned to Scotland, I miss it. I can honestly say it embodies all that is good about a golf club- great layout, lovely staff and people who play there who care about the game.
I am fortunate to belong to a host course to the Open in England. The feeling of anticipation arriving at Mystery Valley is the same as at my home club.
I will be back one day.
Horrible
Horrible. Course construction taking place and wasn’t informed. No greens. Makeshift greens and 16 of the 18 pine had water in them. I would not recommend
Horrible course conditions
The course is greater under reconstruction. They moved the greens on all holes about 50-75 yards closer while they replant the greens. There was notice given pre booking. We asked for a rain heck for the last 9 holes some play was so slow and the course not being up to par (no pun intended).
This by far was my worst GolfNow booking.

Golf
I am a beginner golf so my expectation is limited. Great course for a beginner golfer. The tee off is easy and the fairways are easy and wide. The greens are under construction wish is disappointing but the end of the world.

Alert customers to green conversion
Played on Saturday. Generally a fun course in relatively good shape. However, they're swapping out all greens, that's right 18 temporary greens and no notification of this fact when booking a tee time. Shameful.
Redoing greens
Course is a fun track, BUT they are completely redoing the greens. There are temporary ‘greens’ that are cut in the fairway but putting is a joke. Good to go get some cheap swings in and have some fun. Looking forward to when the new greens are in.

Temporary Greens
Not much to say but you can play 18 holes with out a putter——the temporary greens don’t really allow you to putt with any accuracy - wait to play this course……maybe August
