About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Beautiful day
Ultimate Atlanta spring day. Blue sky, green grass, just playing golf. Just a nice round that makes you want to play more. I think greens are going to get redone.

My Go-To Course
I love this place. I live close to here and it’s great to have such a high quality course that’s really amazing for the prices.
The tee boxes need A LOT of love and they choose some torturous hole locations but I’ll be back next week and the week after that and the week after that.

Getting ready for new greens
Sand traps are great. Some tees have no grass, others are OK. Greens are OK for now, but they are being replaced by new greens on April 24th. So, there will be temporary greens in play on every hole until 7/28/24.

Amazing value for money
Really enjoyed the course layout. Greens were in fantastic condition, some tee boxes & areas of fairway need some time to recover from the rain and cold.

Spring conditions
The fairways were bare in places and grass had yet to grow in. Greens had been fertilized and rolled, so were rock hard and fast. Traps in good shape. Nice layout, except for 15th hole, which is ridiculously tight.

Beautiful Day in the Valley
The course drained well from the morning showers. Couple of dusty tee boxes but otherwise great conditions. Greens were rolling nice, don’t give up the cup!

Early spring golf
The course is very playable, as the greens are good and the sand traps are excellent. The fairways are still mostly dormant (i.e., thin lies) with some signs of green. The course should be getting much greener now that spring has arrived.

Great value for the rate
Upon arrival. I gentleman on a work golf cart purposely came to my car and gave me a ride. Very friendly. I regret I did not get his name. He served in the military in Augusta.

Wish they weren’t doing temporary greens in April but once the new greens are out it will be my #1 choice great atmosphere there.

It was pretty wet; cart path only
No need to say much more. Aside from the greens, everything else was pretty wet; not the best of conditions.
