About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

5/4 punched greens, temp greens
Drove by today to play, 5/4. Greens punched and had temp greens. Don't bother even for $25.

Greens are closed!!!
Temporary greens have been created in the fairways before the actual closed greens. If you want to work on driving, fairway shots and chips only, you can benefit. No realistic putting.

Getting new greens
They are getting new greens so they are letting the old ones die at the moment. My round was cheap so it v reflected the price considering the greens condition. They still should put a note in golf now that greens are being replaced. Tee boxes could use some attention also. Good layout and fairways are in good shape.

Not As Expected
The course is currently using temporary greens, however have done a less than respectable job of creating some type of putting surface. A flag stuck in a hole in the middle of low cut grass with a spray painted perimeter is not a temporary green. AT LEAST ROLL AND PRESS THE SURFACE.

I had a great time playing but the greens were way too fast. It was hard to putt. They did give us a reduced price because of it tho.

Not bad ....
The course layout was decent. Enjoyed my game. Staff were super friendly. I live in Smyrna, doubt if I will drive that far again to play there but no major complaints.

Ultimate Atlanta spring day. Blue sky, green grass, just playing golf. Just a nice round that makes you want to play more. I think greens are going to get redone.

My Go-To Course
I love this place. I live close to here and it’s great to have such a high quality course that’s really amazing for the prices.
The tee boxes need A LOT of love and they choose some torturous hole locations but I’ll be back next week and the week after that and the week after that.
