About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

Wet conditions
Because of the wet conditions the course was playable but made scoring difficult. Sand traps were good, fairways were very soft offering no roll, and the greens were reasonably fast, although there were bare spots on most greens. All in all, it's in pretty good shape for the middle of winter.

A must play
A very nice course with a very good layout. They’re going to be redoing the greens which really need it but the layout of the course and the fairways were all in decent or above decent condition. Pace of play was the four hours and 20 minutes and that was a 12 noon to 1230 start. I played with three local gentlemen and had a wonderful time.

Beautiful layout, great value
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this golf course. They are six sets of tees to choose from, and the greens are in pretty good shape. The bunkers are quite well-maintained, and the layout is beautiful. This is a highly recommended merchandise value.

always fun to play
I've always loved this course. Course was busy and they didn't have enough carts. We had to wait an hour past our tee time to get one. Caused us to not get 18 holes in. The clubhouse manager gave me his card and said to call and he'd take care of us next time. Very kind and aware. I'll go back. Fun and challenging course at a good price.

Great day for winter golf
The course is in good winter shape. There are small bare spots on the greens, but the greens roll very well. The pace of play was slow (4:40) due to everyone trying to get out for a round in great winter weather. Not perfect, but very playable.

Great staff and you get your money’s worth
Pros: Super friendly staff, efficient and responsive. It’s a huge course and usually takes us 4+ hours. A good amount of bathrooms. You will likely see herds of deer from the 12-15th hole.
Cons: No cart service for beverages. No Course Marshal. There are patrons that are not mindful of their slow pace. I’m all for having a fun and relaxing day, but standing at the pin and continuing to chat rather than move on is just plain disrespectful. In the winter, you have to start by 1:00 bc the sun goes down quickly at 5:30.
