Monroe Golf & Country Club

This course is very player friendly. Tee to green not much trouble at all. The course protects itself by using some lenght, elevation changes and fast hilly greens. Good place to play.

It had rained significantly the few days prior to playing. Besides the par 3'a of course, there were only 2 holes that were cart path only. The course was in really good shape considering. We played in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Only minor complaint was that there was a 5-some two groups in front that held us up some but being able to play in under 3.5 hours made it seem not too bad. I bet they wouldn't so that on other more crowded days. We really enjoyed our afternoon round of golf.

This course was very well maintained and the greens were quick. Not too difficult but it was nice to be on a course where there weren't houses on every single hole. I'm definitely playing this course again.

Would and will play this course again and again!!!

First time playing the course. It was in excellent condition. You had to put your ball in the right spot to score well. Use one club more when hit approach shots to the elevated greens. Will definitely play again.

Played solo on a weekday morning when you couldn't ask for better weather.

Love the bent grass greens! They were in great shape and very fast.
I wish that the tee boxes showed the hole numbers. I was afraid that I would play the wrong hole, because sometimes it's not crystal clear which way you're supposed to go and there was no map on the scorecard.

I wish this course were closer because I would definitely consider membership. Great condition and very playable.

I started on 10 and when I turned, I played #6 first instead of #1. It's a par 5 just like #1 so I jumped on it. The only time I've seen three holes start that close to the clubhouse is where the course has three different nines. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

fairways are quite generous for the most part, though certain fairways needed to cut down some, hard to differential between first cut rough and the fairways sometimes. greens are good even though they been punched recently,certain tee boxes don't have enough grass,but overall it was a good warm up round,only a handful of people playing on this Wednesday afternoon.

Greens were extremely soft (moist). Course in sound shape with little issues regarding hazards. Course is in good shape with few hazards.

Great food at the dining area of club house. Dining staff was extremely friendly.

I didnt pay attention when attendant charged my card but I was charged full price & had already paid the upfront fee at time if booking too.

Enjoyed the round. Greens were in great shape, fairways were clean, well cut, and fair. Course navigation is a little challenging... would have wished I picked up a yardage book

Course photos and Tour on course's website don't do the course justice. Very picturesque, surprising amount of elevations, excellent condition. David in Pro Shop friendly and helpful.

Very enjoyable round of Golf with my daughter, who is a college player, The course was in great shape and there was plenty of ice cold water available on the course for a late July day in Georgia. We will be back to play again! :)

First time playing. Fairways are open for the most part but can get in trouble. Greens protect the course. Have your short game ready. Key to be below the hole. Shot my best score if the summer. Will definately be back.

Played Monroe CC for the first time and really enjoyed it. Once the twosome ahead of us suggested we join up, the pace of play was fine. We played in just under four hours. The course is in excellent condition. The greens are relatively fast, faster than other area courses. The course is challenging, but not ridiculously so for the average golfer. I will return.

Very fast bent greens. Elevated greens and very large. Course in great shape. Overall great course!. Good driving range practice green.
