Courteous Staff
This was our second time visiting (a year apart) and the staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. Both my wife and I are most impressed how helpful each staff member was to our questions and requests. They are the best!
Best Value
Trident has a great design with opportunities to score if you manage the course well. Doglegs, sand and water provide challenges but most fairways are accommodating for all skill sets. I’ve played here five times since January and course gets better each time. Price is great. Can’t beat it.
Good day for golf
Overall course in good condition. Wish golfers would do their park in helping take care of the course
Enjoy playing this course. No grill or food on site so take your own. Greens need work. A lot of our putts were bouncing and speed of greens inconsistent. Also noticed players have not been fixing their divots and didn't help putting either.
Need a Marshal
When I arrived for my tee time, there were 3 groups ahead of me waiting to go off on the first tee with another group in the fairway and yet another on the green. Since I was playing alone, one of the regulars suggested I start on # 10. Turned out to be great advise because it felt like I had the whole back 9 to myself. When I made the turn and got to #1, there was still a long line of carts waiting to tee off. I packed it in after paying $48 for nine holes but was still happy with the round. The long wait at the first tee is quite customary at this course. It seems they need someone managing start times and pace of play on the first hole.
Best Value in Town
The GolfNow Hot deal makes this course the best value around. The layout is excellent with sand traps and enough water to require well placed shots to score well. The greens were a little slow but rolled true. The fairways are generous and tighten closer to the hole. The doglegs required good course management.
There wasn't a Ranger or Starter but our foursome played in 3:45 minutes. They didn't have a refreshment cart when we played but fueled up on the turn.
Great experience.
First time at Trident Lakes and it was an overall pleasant surprise. The staff was amazingly welcoming. Carts were great and GPS was fairly accurate.
Tee boxes and greens were all green and ready to go. Greens were a little slower than normal.
The only thing I would suggest is the food and drink be more available at the pro shop. The cart girl was out a lot but the only food option was hotdogs although they have a cantina area (closed on a Saturday).
Fun course
My son and I played this course and throughly enjoyed it. The fairways are mostly wide open with water in play on several holes; watch out for the gators they are everywhere. The pace of play was a little slow but that seems to be the case on most courses these days. We look forward to playing it again.
Great Value Nice Design
The Arthur Hill designed course provides plenty of challenge for all levels of golfers. There are four sets of tee boxes providing 5094 to6648 yards. The sand is soft with bunkers and water protecting most greens. There is a nice Course Guide provided to help navigate the terrain.
Pace of play was good with our foursome playing in 3 hours and 45 minutes. The first green needs some recovery time but the rest rolled true. The Fairways are in winter conditions and firm.
Trident Lakes is a great value and we definitely will be back
