Better off Dead.
This course has been suffering from a long, slow death. Tee boxes are in bad need of watering, after seven years, there’s still no sand in the sand traps. The best thing about this course is the guy driving around selling food. He makes some awesome barbecue.
Water your tee boxes!
I had to hammer my tees into many of the tee boxes. No drinking water on course. There are no bathrooms when you get off the course after 5:00. The guy in the clubhouse was great, he informed about the whole course and just overall super friendly. Greens were beautiful! Fairway was decent but you can easily lose your ball in the short stuff. Very narrow technical course. If you learn to play off of the hills, you can drive the ball a mile. Overall, the facility could use a makeover, carpets, paint, etc... Really should paid closer to $25 for a twilight round.
Great greens
Good course for beginners. Greens are in excellent shape
Broken Cart Paths and Very Slow Greens
Course is in decent shape compared to previous years BUT 80% of carts paths are broken and hard to drive on, which makes it difficult. The Greens have good grass on them but have NOT been mowed down, so they are very slow and inconsistent.. The course has a great layout but overall experience is disappointing and not worth it
Course is great for the money.
Cart paths throughout the course in in as bad a condition as I’ve seen an 18 hole look. Concrete broken up all over driving lanes, vegetation impeding pathways and all manner of terrible bumpy roads. Fairways & greens looked great & were recently cut. Playable for the price but driving carts an adventure.
Southland could be a fun course
This course would really benefit from a starter or a Marshall. Close to a five hour round due to a a twosome and a single in front of us. Course layout is fun and the greens are pretty well maintained but for the money, it’s not worth it.
CART PATHS SUCKS
Only thing that keeps this course from being great is a needing a better cart path
Cart paths
The greens & fairways were the best I have ever seen it but the cart paths & trails the cart travels on were the WORSE I have ever seen for a golf course. Cement broken everywhere, debris, branches across the path area throughout the course make for a rough ride to say the least. Repairs to the cart path are desperately needed.Someone is going to get hurt it is that BAD.
A fair valued place to play
Me and my friend come here together most of the time we play. We almost always have a smooth acceptable experience
