About
The golf course at Fairways Country Club is a short course but it is quite unforgiving. Water hazards come into play on fifteen of the eighteen holes of the course. The greens are small and tight and they are in excellent condition. There are also strategically placed bunkers situated throughout as well for extra challenge. The signature hole of the course is the par-5 5th hole, which has water on both sides of the fairway and it also runs across it 100 yards from the green. The course has three sets of teeboxes to accommodate different abilities and handicaps.

nice course
Good value, friendly staff, course in pretty good condition. Overall nothing to fancy, but really good value if you want to play a course in decent shape.
Simple
Honestly pretty impressed with this golf course. It's a great value and just simple. The course plays short and some holes are a little plain but overall it's a great design that offers different scenarios nearly every time you play it– especially in the short game. Also the greens were in excellent condition! Will definitely be playing here again and again.

Tee Times mean nothing
Course was great, and maintained well. It's in a retirement community so expect alot of older people.
The course does not respect tee times at all. Booked our tee time at like 7:30ish, we rolled up to our first tee, theres a group teeing off in front of us during our tee time, whatever all good. So we wait and let them tee off. As soon as they hit their 2 balls (group of 2) behind us was 4 golf carts waiting to tee off. It was about 7:32 at that point. Next available tee time was at like 7:44. I doubt 10 people all reserved a 7:30 tee time. I guess when you live there you don't care. Felt rushed the whole time and nerves were kicking in with everyone staring at you.

This is a great place to come and have a easy round when you need to get you feeling better about your gold game.

It was quite wet but we knew that going in and were reminded at pro shop that a rain check was available if it was too wet. Very quick pace of play and greens were in pretty good shape especially considering the rain we've had.

Course is usually always in good shape. But the rains came through late afternoon and put this course pretty much under water!

Fairways is by far my favorite place to play in a Orlando when it comes to PACE OF PLAY and COURSE LAYOUT, but they will nickel and dime you for every little thing once you’re there.

Our greens fees are lower than any course within 30 miles, our bottled water is $1, bottled Gatorade and soda is 2 for $4, candy and prepackaged snacks are $1.50, tall boy beers are 2 for $4, and golf balls starting for less than $1 per ball.
