About
Cantigny Golf in Wheaton offers 27 holes of championship golf. It is also a great place for juniors with an academy and nine-hole youth links course. The holes are divided into the Lakeside, Hillside, and Woodside nines, names that connote the characteristics of the beautiful landscape. There are two meandering creeks as well as 12 lakes interspersed throughout the golf courses. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Lakeside/Hillside Course, as the name would imply, takes advantage of the many lakes and elevation changes. Mature hardwood trees frame the holes and more than 100,000 flowers provide a colorful accent. In addition to water hazards, there are also strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. All of the golf courses are enjoyable challenging without being overly difficult.

Great experience
Amazing course with friendly staff.
Course is in great condition consider the weather recently.
Cant wait to play this course again when weather gets better
Beautiful Course
This is one of the premiere courses in the Chicago area. The course was a bit damp but in good shape since it was opening day. Only issue is it was cart path only, which makes for a long round. I realize though they are trying to protect the course until the spring weather settles in.
Nice course for great price
Pace of play was great at 4 hours on a Thursday morning. No range balls included. Cart path only due to soggy conditions.
One of the best course in Chicago area.
Great course layout, excellent facility, courteous staff and excellent restaurant. Overall, a great way to spend the day. Course conditions are always first class.
Great Course/Slow Play
This course never disappoints! However the pace of play for the money, is way too slow. There's really no reason for a 5 hour round at a place like this. It isn't the first time I've had this happen here. The couple I played with are regulars and they experience 5 hours rounds multiple times this summer. Management needs to clean that up. No disrespect to the course. It's always great!
Slow moving
We wish they would have set up signs to tell us where the carts could and could not go on the course. Countless times we were driving in general areas only to have the cart stop and force us to back up at 2 miles per hour.
Some of the fairways on the Lakeside were cracked I guess from the drought And a couple of grays had issues on the edges
