worth the drive
I have heard a lot of great things about Sandy Pines, and was excited to play there finally. Course is in great shape, greens rolled true, tee boxes were in good shape. I played on a crowded Saturday afternoon and was surprised it took as long to play as it did 4:45-5:00 as we moved right along every hole. I only had to play sand once but it was good sand not hard pan common to some courses. Looking forward to playing again. Lobbying my group for a stay and play. Rough is playable and balls were easy to find. Beverage cart came around two or three times.

Always top tier condition, properly spaced tee times. Challenging yet you can score.
Hidden gem
Beautiful layout, premium carts, excellent service, challenging course. Very reasonable price. Couldn’t ask for more. Will be back frequently with friends!
Best course in NWI
This course is, by far, the best in the area if not the state of Indiana..if you get the chance, I highly recommend Sandy Pines in Demotte, IN

Weekends here are slow, top notch course, definitely in the top 5 in Indiana for me.
Great courses
Great place to play. Staff is friendly throughout the place. Greens, fairways perfect conditions
Nice track out in the middle of no where
Very nice layout. Super quick and smooth greens. Abundance of sand in traps.
Overall very fun to play. Plenty of room off the tees, just be sure to play the correct tee for your handicap and you will have a fun time.
Home #2 is a tough par 5 since there is a blind tee shot into a sloped fairway. 2nd shot is just as tough since you will likely have a downhill/ side hill lie. Laying up is the best option as green is guarded by water and several sand traps.
There are some target golf shots and you will likely use every club in your bag.
Hats off to greenskeeper and staff. Have played this course several times and it’s always in great shape regardless of the season.
HIDDEN GEM
This was my second time playing here. Drove quite a ways to get here too. The area is quite beautiful with homes and condos throughout. For being this early, course was in great condition. The sand was fluffy too. Staff was very kind in all aspects. I didn't use the restaurant, but noticed the clubhouse and surroundings were beautifully updated since my last visit. Weather was quite chilly with some wind, but course is not that difficult. Can't wait to get back in the summer.
This is Indiana's hidden gem...guaranteed!
