Melreese Golf Course at International Links

I had a 3:00 tee time and did not get out until 3:40. Did not get so much as an apology or anything just bad excuses. The front nine is extremely forgettable and the nine has a few decent holes but the course is not in very good condition. Greens were slow, rough was awful, and the fairs were meh. The pace of play was horrible as I had the pace for almost a five hour round. I got yelled at by an employee saying don't go off the cart path when I literally stayed on the cart path the whole round. Overall I would recommend Crandon, Normandy, Biltmore, Miami Shores over here. Never been treated so poorly and I play a lot of golf.

I played this horse for the first time greens were punched 3 weeks ago however they have come back nicely Fairways excellent shape. I highly recommend this course. Check the flags if the flag is up stay below the flag greens are fast

By far the best Virus response by any local course. Ball actually has to drop in the cup. It’s a great value if you get the Premier card.

I had booked a tee time for around 1:30pm, Went out there early at like 12 and they allowed me to go out early. I’m usually a single player, but I like being paired up with different guys/groups. Today was one of those days. Played with Vito, retired NYPD detective, stand up guy. Really enjoyed the course with him as we both play it frequently. Great layout, Greens are kept nice and true. Love the links style!

Melreese met all our expectations as we see the course from the highway all the time but had never played it. Very well groomed grounds, beautiful course and the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Will return for sure.

Canadian in the Keys

Pleasantly surprised today with the courses condition. Both fairways and green in good shape. Playing again in two weeks

From my understanding is this golf course is going to be bulldozed down soon because David Beckham is building his soccer stadium/complex. It’s a great layout, quite a few holes are forgiving, greens are always in great shape. Pace of play is solid if you’re single 99% of the time the group in front of You allows you to play through. Shot a 78 today!

Excellent course, the only course within the City of Miami limits, and it will be destroyed soon. Enjoy it while it last, the options to City of Miami residents are very few and limited. Theses are a few relatively close courses; Miami Springs sucks, Biltmore over priced, Doral too much money, Miami Beach area they all ridiculously over priced as well... Miami Shores and Shula’s are about the only ones at this time that are comparable as far fees and quality of the course.

WHAT A SHAME! But I guess money talks and politicians want to ingratiate themselves with the Beckham soccer group. By the way that stadium will never work there, wait until the novelty wears off.

The course was in excellent condition, thoroughly enjoyed it. Very friendly staff, great Proshop, all in all an excellent experience.

I was amazed at how well kept the course is. Fairways were great. Greens firm and fast. Bunkers were extremely enjoyable. Great experience!

Making the reservation for Residents via Golf Now app was AMAZINGLY EASY! The Melreese staff was just awesome, thank you Mrs. Jenny and Dave! Well kept fairways with even better big sloped challenging greens. The Par 5s and 3s are the way to attack this course. If you have kids bring them!!! You see the First Tee kiddos all over the course playing the game. Just a great experience and you get to make many wishes when the impressive airplanes fly over you.

Called the pro shop and they said greens were good. Lied! Course conditions were absolutely terrible.. not worth the money. Jenny in the pro shop was not friendly. This course USED to be great... don’t waste your money. Go play Miami Shores or Miami Beach.

Staff is friendly, course is always tough, which is good.

I did not however enjoy the round for the following reasons:

1- Greens were just done, yet they charged full price. If you played this course before the greens are part of the experience, so it was a let down.

2- the first tee kids take over the first few holes of the course, so was not quite a good start given the lack of communication as to where they are and having to skip few holes and start from hole 5 or 6

I like the course and feel bad that it was not as good of an experience as I had expected or hoped. So, If you live around north Miami then might be better to travel up north and have plenty of courses to play especially for the price. Golfers who live further south have limited options I guess.
