About
UNC Finley Golf Course is one of the top 20 collegiate courses in the country. The club offers a well conditioned comprehensive facility with a driving range, putting green, and chipping. Tom Fazio designed this challenging layout that is diverse enough to appeal to players of all skill levels. He included his trademark false fronts and greenside bunkers. To keep the golf course approachable, there are several different ways to play the bunkers and there are numerous risk-reward opportunities. Seven sets of tees ranging from about 5,000 to 7,300 yards make the course even more versatile. The 15th through the 17th are a beautiful stretch of holes that provide a formidable test as well. The excellent conditions are another feature of the UNC Finley golf course that has made it popular.

Great Course
Overall, great course. The course is fairly wide open and very playable. A couple of the holes have a great risk/reward factor for tee shots and the greens were in great shape. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my round there, even though I'm an NC State fan, lol. Great course, would definitely like to play again when in the area.

Superior Course!
Gently undulating fairways. Firm, fast and yet smooth bent grass greens. Second to none bunkers, with plenty of sand to soak up moisture.
These are the features that characterized UNC Finley GC today
Even with morning showers they were confident enough to let carts abide to 90° rule. The course drains that well.
Get out here , it’s worth the penny!
Eat. Sleep. Golf. Repeat. Off to the mountains tomorrow.

Do well Maintained quite! The greens ran through as if they were slick the layout was not too difficult but difficult enough loved it! Highly recommend.

Always in excellent condition and staff ready to see you. For walkers, it's a long hike - especially from 11-12 and 15-16.

Excellent experience
Very good conditions overall. Greens rolled true and were well taken care of. Nice layout and very comfortable feel. Not the longest course, but still challenging and requiring shot management. Staff were all great. Only gave off course amenities a lower score since most are unavailable due to COVID. Overall, Enjoyed it.

Great Golf Course
Finley is just a great round of golf and can be played from multiple tees for any handicap. It's also a great course to walk and always in great shape.

Course in good shape
Haven’t played here in a few years. . It’s in good shape. It’s a little pricey though.

Great, but...
Course was great as always. The booking fee was a surprise. It presents itself on line as a deposit but when I got to the pro shop the attendant said it was a convenience fee. I said $14.00 dollars to book a tee time, really? That's absurd, I will never book on line at Finley again.
