UNC Finley Golf Course

The course was in great condition. Interesting, challenging holes but not at all unfair. The greens were rolling true and smooth. Staff was very attentive and courteous.

One of my favorite courses in the Triangle. How they manage to keep bentgrass greens healthy in the heat of summer is beyond me. Great layout and quite fair. Practice bunker could be better but they do have two practice putting greens Highly recommended.

Finley is a very nice course. The bent grass greens are a rarity in this area with a great feel and true roll. The course was very wet from rain over the past couple of weeks but otherwise in very good condition. The pace of play was slow due to carts on path but otherwise no issues.

Played the week after Florence visit. Cart path only which was appropriate. Bent grass greens were incredibly slow.....maybe an 8-9 on the stimp.

Great layout, they are supposed to speed up the greens when the night temps. cool.

Good play on GN, wouldn't pay rack rate.

We started by hitting some balls on the range and the range is perfect!! Great grass plenty of targets.

The course starts out mellow and eases you in to probably the most fun course I’ve ever played. There is water there is plenty of sand. The course was in great shape especially the tees and fairways. The greens were pretty soft and beat up a bit but they still rolled well. I will be back every year for the rest of my life.

Fairways were in great shape and generous. It helps if you play with a member. Tee boxes were in very good shape. Greens in very good shape, very large, smoothe and true. If you are in the area play Finley.

You wont be disappointed. A fun course to play. Can't wait to get back again.

The course was in great shape. The greens had some ball marks but other then that it was an amazing round and well worth the money!!! I will be back again.

Nice layout but greens were in poor shape and extremely slow.. expect much more for $88. Also ranger told us to speed up on 15 which was no big deal, but came back on 16 to tell us again! Really?1 hole and another warning? Good way to ruin a round and lose a customer. I expect much better, especially for that kind of money.

Excellent layout & well maintained. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We had an enjoyable day of golf.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Course was in very good condition. Greens on the slower side, but didn’t take away from the experience. Pace of play was very good.

Course in great shape. Greens cut high so relatively slow but to be expected with the summmer heat.

Well maintained. Pleasant staff. Pace of play very good with enough starting times separation.

Excellent course. Beautiful clubhouse and course. The greens are true and staff is incredibly friendly. Had a guy driving around checking pace of play and ensuring nobody got backed up. Will definitely be back.

Great layout with a great variety of holes. Almost always a good lie in the fairway. Greens were firm but a well struck shot would hold. I would play here over and over again

This course - from tee to green, was in excellent condition especially considering the wet weather we had had over the past couple of weeks. Best course and course conditions I've played this year, and that includes TPC Wakefield and Kiawah Island Ocean course. The staff must have worked their collective butts off. Great job.

Everything nice and green, good looking course! It is challenging for a "senior" as there are no senior tees (so mostly played Red). Back nine is extremely long... Greens were soft and slow, but predictable and consistent. Loads of sand traps.

Overall, the course is first class.

While other courses suffer through tough winters and hot summers somehow Finley avoids the pitfalls off these seasons. The range was in great shape as were the putting and chipping greens. Pace of play was good, tee boxes excellen as were the fairways and greens. Great maintenance crew! Staff very cordial and helpful. Course was challenging on a very humid day but plenty of cold water available. Will start playing here more often!
