No course maintenance whatsoever, terrible conditions particularly for the price

The course is absolutely destroyed. The greens are more bumpy than hitting on asphalt. I was hoping it got better but haven’t done anything since last spring. You can still see the plastic grid line material in the greens. And they also are cutting down a bunch of trees so if you go off the course a little good luck finding the ball.

My wife and I lived in Olde Sycamore neighborhood for almost 20 years, and belonged as members. OS always had some of the best conditions in the area, but currently it is practically unplayable. I have never played on greens as bad as they are right now. They are still charging prices as if nothing condition wise has changed. The greens need to be totally redone immediately to try and get ready for upcoming season.

Played this course for the 1st time since October and the greens are MUCH better. My putting wasn't but can't blame that on the condition of the greens. Enjoyed the course.

This is a really nice place to play. Course was is reasonably good shape considering it’s January. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We’ll worth the money Love playing here.

Most of the greens are in bad shape. Bumpy and tons of divots. Spend your money elsewhere in Charlotte for better course conditions

The course management really needs to reconsider pricing. Its not even worth 45 dollars a round. They're charging 80 it outrages. You're better off playing emerald, divide, or Charlotte national. I won't be playing this course & you shouldn't book it. Staff is awesome.

I have always enjoyed this course in the past. But the last few times I’ve played here the greens have Ben in bad shape and the tee boxes. The fairways average but you can always roll it in to a good spot to hit from. I’ll still come back but hopefully the greens will be in better shape

Always love the layout at OSP, the greens were in rough shape.

The only reason this has 1 star is that the fairways were in decent condition. The greens on the other hand were TERRIBLE! Maybe the worst I have ever played. Huge bare spots and rough spots on the greens. Impossible to putt from some parts of the greens. Charging $80 to play this course without communicating the condition of the greens is just wrong. I would give this course at least 6-9 months for the greens to improve and then call first regarding their condition.

I thought it was a good course for the money. It was very hilly, which sometimes made it difficult to know where your ball went, especially out the tee box.

The course has a nice layout. Ranger kept coming by to tell us we were 5 minutes past pace of play. Basically harassed us the whole time. The greens were not in very good condition. It hasn't rained here for a week and there were a lot of sloppy wet areas. Overall not worth 79.00 to play.
