Greens are rough
This is a pretty tough tight course. It’s fun to play. They are having issues with the greens. They had issues last year if I remember correct. They did have 7” of rain but the greens were dry enough to cut but weren’t for a few days seems like . Also good amount of weeds in them.
It’s a fun layout course and you can find deals . So it’s worth it. I’m sure they will get the greens back soon
Needs A Lot of TLC
Many of the tee boxes had little to no sod. Greens were wildly inconsistent and had many weeds mixed in with the grass. No good lies around the greens or on the fringe of the fairways. Course was generally in rough condition. Do have to say the sand boxes played true and were in good condition. Staff was kind and helpful also. Will not be playing this course again.
Not for beginners!
This was a very tough course with water hazards everywhere. I must’ve lost 8 balls for a nine holes round. I think only very skilled golfers would enjoy the challenges that this course offers. I will say that the conditions were pretty good throughout the part of the course that I played.
Very challenging course, but fun.
The best way to play this course is to play conservative. Small ball! Don’t try to get aggressive, you’ll lose a lot of balls.
Interesting Course.
Great scenery with many holes along the Intracoastal Waterway. Some narrow holes, interesting playing it for the 1st time, not knowing the water hazards/sand traps.
Definitely need some rain or water the course & greens.
Lots of Poa Annua grass on the greens made for bumpy and unpredictable putting.
Short and under whelming.
The best part of the course is hole #18. Great finishing hole along the water. Other than that the course is meh. Short yardage on the front 9 makes for lots of backups on the tee and slow play. Thereis quite the jouney form green to the next tee box on several of the holes. Mostly through residential areas. Greens and fairways were in pretty good shape. It was a round of golf but I would not be returning.
Greens are much better than last year
In over all better shape then last year, for the price it a great little course that will definitely make you sharpen your skills.
I love this course
Leave the club house on the first hole and don't see it again until 18. Beautiful course with lot's of water. Challenging for someone at my ability level, and that's one of the things I like most, but also the course layout and condition. It wasn't in quite as good a shape this year as it was last year when I played here, but then other area courses have been similar. I think that's just been a function of the weather.
Double trouble
The front 7 holes have trouble both sides with narrow tight fairways, many doglegs, so forget about the driver. The houses are 10 yards off the rough, or there is water both sides, so hit en straight.
Then the distant between greens and the next tee boxes crossing busy streets 45mph.
They have ball eating gators in the lake on 10, hanging out by the tree on the left, just have to hit em straight.
Odd Layout
This course meandered far and wide through a series of housing developments. It did not seem to flow well. The front nine plays short and therefore lends itself to back ups! Which definitely happens. The back 9 is better. Greens and fareways were average. The best hole on the course (and the most beautiful and hardest) is 18.
I probably would not return.
Nice Afternoon
I enjoyed playing with Don and Bob.. very friendly.. enjoyed my round… they’re doing what they can to improve the course.
I’ll return in the future.
