Greens in final stages of healing from aeration. Dried out, not cut, bumpy, and slower than normal. Pace was great, under 4 hours on a Saturday afternoon with groups behind and in front of us. Wouldn’t say it’s worth the normal rate until the greens are in better condition, though.

Continues to be the best course in the Raleigh area in my opinion. Another great round.

My favorite public course in Raleigh. Amazing challenge and uses all clubs in the bag. The only thing is they don’t have water on the course which is ridiculous. I played in 110+ realfeel weather and luckily prepared, but would have been upset if I didn’t. At least wendall gives free water bottles..

Very disappointed that we did not know we could only play the front nine because they were working on the course that day. We had made our teatime a week in advance it was very disappointing that we didn’t know ahead of time

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they don’t provide water on the course, which is inexcusable in hot weather. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable day.

Great course overall. After playing it once, I realized some holes had more room to land a driver or 3 wood. Greens were very speedy and true. Practice facilities were solid and the putting green prepared you for the reality of the speedy greens. Make sure you are on the right side of the hole with your approach.

You will not regret playing this course

Course is in excellent condition all around best tee boxes, fairways and greens I’ve played in the area. Greens are tough, quick and tough pin placements but in great shape. Nice that range balls are included since it is a rather expensive course. A bit pricier than most courses in the area but better course conditions, so worth the splurge every once in awhile. Will be coming back.
