My review
Pace of play on back 9 very slow 2:45. Front nine great. Tee boxes and many fairways mediocre. Green’s very good
Really fun course
I really enjoyed this round with my wife. She and I found it to be reasonably priced for what you get. Could use some new cart paths but overall the tee boxes fairways and greens were in decent shape. Played the sand and bay courses. I loved the layouts. Challenging but fair. Par 3’s are just outstanding holes. Definitely would play again.
Greens were in great shape
Course was fun and challenging. Overall good morning
Very nice courses
We played Sand & Piper courses and both courses were really nice and fun. In excellent conditions. Will play there again for sure.
Please don't mow while I'm putting
The mower was playing the same holes as we were towards the end of the round. Mower didn't stop when you were on the tee, while approaching or while putting. I was over my ball putting when the mower passed about 10 feet from me. Unique experience. Course was in good shape. Fairly open course with a few challenging holes
Absolute gem in the Calabash area!
Friendly staff; 27 challenging, fun holes; excellent greens; always in great condition no matter the season; our favorite course to play while in NC!
Very nice course
We played Piper & Bay and both courses were in excellent conditions. We would play there again if it was a bit cheaper, we used to be able to get better deals in the past. We love their 3 courses: Piper, Bay & Sand. I would recommend the course.
Nice day, well-organized
1st time playing here, played Sand/Piper. Drop bag off, staff brings them down into bullpen area where starter herds the cats into who, where, and when, Greens are excellent, water borders many holes but does not interfere. Can run the ball up into most every hole as greens are elevated slightly. However most fronts are wet and ball will grab. Even saw a few gators!
Good Course, but...
This is a really good course. The conditions have improved a lot since last year. We've been playing it for about 15 years when we are in the area. It's not the most scenic course and the guy checking us in was upset we got such a good deal on GolfNow. He actually had an attitude. Other than that, the cart/bags guys were awesome. Slow front nine but the back was real quick. Will definitely play again.
Great greens
Played the Sand and the Piper, amazing greens and great course all around
