Good Deal
Great day, nice course, can't complain about a thing except maybe parking, but that goes along with a good deal.
Another course in a housing development
Played Sands and Piper. Nothing special other than location (we were staying in Sandpiper Bay). If you can find a good Hot Deal, it's fine. Otherwise you're better off playing the Reese Jones course across the street. The conditions are good and greens are consistant.
Sunset Beach Golf
Enjoyable gold course to play ... open fairways ... greens in good condition ... ground absorbs water well after rain ... easy access.
Perfect conditions, great value
It was a very enjoyable round. The staff here is always friendly. And course conditions were terrific.
Great Course
We played Piper to Bay today. My dad and I played this for the 2nd time and the course overall was in great shape. The pace of play was extremely slow. A lot of golfers out playing today and no ranger to help speed up the slow golfers. Highly recommend this course and we will definitely be back in hopes to play the Sand course!
Decent value for the money
Love the layout. Good fairways and tees. Decent greens but found some inconsistencies. Cart paths need some help A few bare spots here and there and some thin lies along the fairway edges. The course is starting to show its age but still worth a play.
Second Time Around
Played the Piper/Bay; very fun! Sandpiper is on my list for a repeat round when I return!
Sandpiper - A Must-do!
Course is one of the best values in the area. Conditions were very good. Pace of play reasonable (we were a twosome behind a foursome); pretty consistent - important if you are waiting.
Playing again while we are here!
