About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Beautiful day on the links!
Eagles Chase is a fantastic golf course. Greens and fairways are beautiful. Wonderful elevation, changes, water, dog legs. A fine track. Doesn’t play as long as you might think as the elevation offers a bit of depth perception challenges. Some blind shots but otherwise a fantastic course. They do need a Marshall to actively move play along, otherwise a terrific day.

Solid course, will play again
Greens probably 1 week away from being perfect after a recent aeration but I was impressed with this course. A lot of elevation change as advertised and a handful of holes with narrow fairways/landing areas call for accurate tee shots. Well maintained.

Best course in Charlotte, bar none. Great layout, great condition, excellent value. Always worth the 45 minute drive from Charlotte!

Lots of elevation changes!!!
Let's just say, I was not prepared for the elevation changes! The guy in the pro shop gave me the ultimate advice...drive slowly. There were some amazing Par 3's due to hitting down 75+ feet of elevation drops. The course was in incredible shape and the greens were outstanding. The course has many blind shots so it's great if you have someone with you with local knowledge. It seemed like the day was going to be a long day, but once you get several holes in, things tend to balance out. I'm not familiar with that area, but it seems off the beaten path, but well worth the drive.

Greens are still recovering
Greens were punched a couple of weeks ago and are still recovering. Will be a couple of weeks before fully healed. Great layout w some tricky holes that need local knowledge. Worth the trip from Charlotte .

Recently aerated, but greens have problems
I’m a big fan of the course and play there regularly, however as of recent, the greens are not looking good, and certainly aren’t rolling smooth like normal.
Hopefully they will get that resolved quickly,
For now expect your putting lines to be impacted and slow.

Great and challenging course
Position matters on several holes as expected. Lots of tipped fairways and well designed catch areas to prevent ball from disappearing after rolling off the green. Greens have a lot of slope to them but were recently punched so they played weird. That is not a knock on the course but evidence of good maintenance.

Punched and sandy greens
That time of year...greens were punched the previous day. Back nine was closed. Had to play front nine twice. Got stuck behind 2 foursomes where at least 3 didn't know how to golf. Why dont golfers learn how to golf on the range?...Not the course.
