About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Fun layout! Great conditions!
First time playing this course today. I’ve heard great things and it didn’t disappoint. Course starting to green up and in great shape. Challenging layout with lots of elevation changes. Will definitely play again!

Highly Recommend
I highly recommend this course. The fairways are beginning to grow in from the winter. The greens were in great shape. Always enjoy this difficult layout. The course has sone nice scenery as well.

Excellent course! Few holes where the tree limbs could be groomed better for your tee shot (#2 & #4). Other than that, really nice job and in great shape!

Greens in great condition, fairways were brown and still dormant. nice layout but a little funky in that there were many holes with false green fronts and landing areas which if you hit it in those areas your ball could back up 50 - 100 yards....

Scenic Course with great layout
We played in March it was chilly but very enjoyable the greens ran quick and very true. We all enjoyed it even those that had their work cut out for themselves.

Challenging But Fun
Played on a sunny cold and breezy day. Played from the senior tees (Gold) which offered a good distance for my game. Joined with a couple of guys who knew their way around the course--very important since some shots were to locations that were more difficult than they looked. Course was very scenic--lots of ups, downs, and sidehill lies. Reminded me of my home courses in Colorado this time of year. Typical winter fairway conditions--thin and fast--but the greens were fantastic--smooth, green, and consistent! Looking forward to playing it again.

Great course loaded with plenty of hills
Enjoyed this great course in 2/25/23. Obviously with winter the greens (fairway) were not exactly green, but to be expected. The actual greens were beautifully maintained and really enjoyed putting on them. Easy to find most of the lines/etc. Our main problem was the group in front of us. It appeared that there were 5 and they were so slow. Our 2-some was playing fast and had to play around them and skip a hole. The shop should have stopped a 5-some from going out with the same tee time. Otherwise this was a top tier course and will be coming back.

Awesome Value
The course was in incredible shape for mid January. The greens were receptive, rolled true, and were perfectly manicured. They had a playable speed as well. Definitely will come back here in the Spring!

Outstanding as Always
Love coming to Eagle Chase, only wished I lived closer! Weather today was brutal but still had a great time. Excellent practice area, very challenging layout (quick greens today) and hospitality second to none. Never had a bad day at Eagle Chase.

A Nice winter's play at Eagle Chase Golf
The course was in very good shape despite some recent bad weather. Playing pace as a foursome was fine despite a rather full field at the time we played. Beautiful course with hills, valleys, and flat holes. Challenging, yet fun to play. Highly recommend trying this course.
