About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Super day at Eagle Chase
Even though there was a shotgun start tourney in the morning, it was super day. After calling the pro shop and explaining how slow things were (we were trapped behind two foursomes taking lots of time) they found a spot for us and allowed us to move. It was smooth sailing afterwards! Hilton has become quite an asset for the course and is always courteous (hard to do sometimes when dealing with goofy golfers). Truth be told, most of the staff are well above average. Wally has done a fantastic job at the helm of this course for many years. Thanks to all of you working at Eagle for helping provide an awesome escape from the realities of life. :)

Wow - Hidden Gem!
I can not say how impress I was with this course. The views were awesome, the extreme hills where fun, the greens were perfect. It's near nothing but worth the drive. Get to this course and enjoy!

Good course, great value
This course has an interesting/challenging/fun layout - definitely worth a trip to Marshville. The greens are always in fantastic shape, and the fairways are pretty good as well.
Lots of elevation changes and some steep grades on a few holes add to the charm.
One knock on the course is hole 15. Kind of a ridiculous hole with how severely the fairway slopes from right to left but I guess they did what they could considering the natural terrain.
I'll be back to play again - overall a great value.

Course is in good condition
Played this course last Thursday & Monday. Had both tee times at 8:12 & 8:30. Sat on the tee boxes too long waiting for the groups in front. No ranger to regulate the pace. Nearly a 4:30 round, step up the pace. Overall great course conditions and fun holes. See ya soon!

Great place
This course is off the beaten path, but the condition of the course is gray. Lots of elevation change. Greens were punched a few weeks ago but they roll true. The pace was excellent and we had an awesome time. Would highly recommend this course.
